Our cat broke this the day it came home. She was using it as designed, which is to do whatever she pleases, being a cat. Upon assembly, the base is made of two pieces, and the tower goes in the middle. When the tower is leaned upon, the base splits. Basic physics. Also, the base is particle-board. Bad choice. The carpet part gets torn off pretty easily and then our cats start to eat it. We're keeping the rope to re-rope the old tower we were trying to replace and throwing the rest away.
Started to come apart early

Well evidently the cats really use it because it's already coming apart I really liked how big and sturdy it is but the carpet paneling on it is coming apart would I buy this again probably not but I really do like it and obviously they do too

I wasn’t sure if my cats would like a half-sisle half-felt set up but am pleasantly surprised!
I have 3 cats, two that just turned two years and one thats somewhere the vet pegged to be around 2-3 years.
The moment this came out of the box and was assembled it was a hit! Perching on the top- slapping around the balls like a mad-man, climbing/clinging to it like a tree, and finally clawing at the base like they would at the carpet.
I’d say this was a pretty solid investment! The only side note I have is the sisle seems wrapped a little loose- but nothing a little hot glue wouldn’t fix!

Read the reviews which I did from multiple sites, this will not last longer than 2-3months and maybe longer with a smaller cat. The fabric came off very easily and smelled awful. I no longer invest in just any scratch post to get by.. its not worth the monthly cost. It will take time to find out what works for you in material or how sturdy but please go for posts that last longer and it'll save you so much trouble. Its alot $ at first but worth it because you dont need to toss $20-50 here and there every other month.
I recommend the jumbo lounger which is likely to last a year and even tho my cat loves seagrass, sisal will last longer.

I really like this scratch post. My cat scratches it daily. Not the furniture now Thank you chewy.
Fun poms and you can sit on it!

My cats love this. The two pom balls with bells entertain them constantly. The top is steady as a seat for the cats. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that the blue material seems like a cheap thin carpet. It's great for scratching like the sisal but I worry how long it will last. Overall, the cats love it and I recommend it.
My cat LOVES this scratch post!

I have a large scratch post that is all rope and Rocky uses it but it’s not his favorite. This has turned out to be his favorite scratch post. He is destroying the carpet piece after months of daily use. It does look pretty simple to get a new piece of fabric to replace. I like that it’s tall and he can stretch out while he scratches. The structure has held up nice and he doesn’t knock it over like the small posts.
Rocky is about 13lbs, 6yrs old, tons of energy and very playful. He loves to scratch everything so our house has a scratch post or pad in almost every room.

The cats love the scratching post, but the gray fabric on the bottom was completely frayed after a few days of use. I have never had a scratching post with this kind of fabric, but it does not hold up to clawing (2 cats). I will most likely cover it with a carpet remnant, as the sisal part on top is holding up great.
My cats love this!

This tower is awesome! Not only is it tall enough for my cats to get a good stretch, but its sturdy and they toys are securely anchored. Buying a second one today!
Don’t waste your money

By the day after I received the scratching post my cats had already torn the fabric on the lower part of the post. Needless to say I was very disappointed in this product.
