I Like It!!!
By DawnK on Mar 1, 2021
OK.. I do agree that getting it open is quite the challenge! A screwdriver, vice grips, a lot of muscle and some bad words! As for the rest, I read several negative reviews and was hesitant to try, but, decided I'd see for myself, as I have been looking for an affordable and good light weight litter after the ORIGINAL FORMULA Frisco light weight 10 lb jug was discontinued (sad face and tears here!) and the result is ...I Like it! It kinda reminds me of the original Frisco litter! I did not experience an overwhelming amount of dust (which is not healthy for me or the babies) It doesn't have a strong smell and clumps fine. It is also affordable! So, there you have it.

Well we like it
By rooneyandmuldoon on Feb 19, 2021
Seeing all the negative reviews I had to add mine. I like this litter. It's nearly impossible to open, no doubt. But once managed, I find it to be a nice dark, fine grain, which I find better than light-colored, coarse litters. I think it clumps fine, has a nice, unobtrusive scent, and I haven't noticed dust. (I think some people are exaggerating a little.) And I appreciate the light weight. I'm here to purchase again.

More dust than the dust bowl of 1930
By MrPhil on Jan 17, 2021
To crack this open, I recommend a sharp hatchet or 20V reciprocating saw. Inside, you will find this lovely light weight sand. Well lovely until you pour it into the litter box, as it is reminiscent of the dust bowl of 1930 when you do. I choked, I gagged, I could not see, as there was dust everywhere, and the cats ran out of the room for self preservation. After the dust settled, I was tasked with vacuuming, dusting, and the cleaning of nick-nacks...it was a mess. To complete the daily scoop & sift, I suggest goggles and a face mask to protect yourself from this dust getting in your eyes and lungs...not kidding here! Scooping and sifting causes such dust plumes, it causes me to cough To crack this open, I recommend a sharp hatchet or 20V reciprocating saw. Inside, you will find this lovely light weight sand. I will not purchase this product in the future, if it is not healthy for me to clean up, then it cannot be healthy for the cats to use. … more

How are you suppose to open it!
By Kath on Feb 6, 2021
What is with the top, you cannot open it. After I removed the strip to open the bucket, I tried screw drivers and a hammer to try to pry the top off and still couldn't open it. My daughter had to come over to open the container, after a while she got it open but put the top back on thinking once it was open there wouldn't be a problem WRONG. I could not open it. I do not recommend this product. She had to come back again to reopen it.

Poor Quality
By BowtieGuy on Mar 5, 2021
This is cheap poor quality litter. It does not clump well, has little if any deodorizers, creates a concrete like substance in bottom of the litterbox and when cleaning the box with hot water created a gross gelatin like substance. I will never buy this product again.

Never Again
By Moochie7 on Feb 9, 2021
The container took me over an hour with multiple tools to get it opened! I tore the strip off perfectly but the top didn’t budge. When I did finally get it open and was putting it in to the litter box the dust was awful and it didn’t scoop as well as other litters I’ve used. I have to finish the container off now but would NEVER purchase it again.

Nope. Nope. Nope.
By amieretto on Feb 21, 2021
The good: it does its job, it clumps the pee & poo. The bad: This is so impossibly hard to open I'd gladly pay more for another brand just to never struggle with this again. This litter is soooooooo dusty. This is a no for me. Done. No thank you.

Not such a “great value”
By Zippy on Jan 6, 2021
One of the most difficult containers of anything I have ever opened! Almost gave up and then the lid just popped off. Super, super dusty! Not sure what their idea of odor control is because this is probably the worst odor control I have ever had. The worst part is how quickly and how much of the litter my cats tracked through the house in a short period of time. It’s like beach sand and they tracked it everywhere. It did seem to clump well, but not enough to out-weigh all of my other issues with it.

Prepare for wrestling match!
By ProudParent on Feb 18, 2021
Lid was impossible to open. Finally used a screw driver to force a small gap for an opening. Went with the lightweight because of the quantity I needed but my boys prefer the regular stuff instead. I tried! :) I liked to reduced weight!

The Worst Litter Ever
By Garbage on Jan 12, 2021
This litter does not clump. I have tried many brands and styles of litter over the years, this is the worst there is.If you need a cheap lightweight litter and do not care about the "clumps" falling apart as you scoop them, this is the brand for you. Also, it stinks.Literally smells horrid after my cats used it. I try to be objective when judging a product and this is my opinion of the worst clumping litter ever.
