Failure
One of my 2 cats (the larger one of two litter mates) headed right away to the new object in her house. She got on it, sniffed, started to exercise her paws and the item broke in half (one of the 2 halves broke in half). She weighs a little less than 14 pounds--the litter mate is only about 10 pounds. They are 4.5 years old. I decided not to open the other 2 hammocks. I had hoped to place them around the house. After pondering what to do--ask to return them or give them away--I decided to give them to my nieces, hoping that their cats will be attracted to the hammocks and not weigh as much. Needless to say, I am mighty disappointed in the product. If nothing else, they should be advertised for smaller cats. Furthermore, they are overpriced.

We had one of these a while back that the cats loved. It's pretty sturdy and lasted a long time until my partner fell on it and broke it. Finally ordered a replacement and they are thrilled! I
Met Expectations
This is my cat's favorite playing and sleeping place. She uses it as a scratching post, grooming place and "throne".
Functional cat furniture
Sturdy, tons of scratching surface area, gets used like a couch, and almost always has a cat on it. I have one average intelligence cat and one stupid cat and it took my stupid cat Larry a few days to figure out but she got it eventually. Larry now scratches and sits on it whenever bossy orange cat, “The Queen” as she is often called, decides to sleep in her previous favorite spot, a nearby pile of pillows.

Did not hold up
Only lasted a couple of weeks before it broke. The cats loved it while it lasted but not worth the cost for a couple of weeks of fun
The smell of vomit
I was looking forward to putting this together for my cat as this is her favorite scratcher. When we pealed off the plastic we were assaulted with the horrible smell of what could only be described as vomit. We quickly threw it in a trash bag and brought it outside to the dumpster but the smell lingered. I’ve purchased these from another store in the past and they’ve never smelled!
Dangerous!
This is the most disappointing product I've bought on chewy.com ever, and I've been a customer for years. I agree with all the one-star reviews on this product (flimsy, poorly constructed, breaks easily), but it's most egregious problem is the plastic decorative tape adhering to the sides of each panel; it came off after a couple of days, like the adhesive was faulty. I found my cat eating a strip of the plastic that had completely torn away. I pray this doesn't result in health issues for my cat. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT.
