Is the buckwheat insert safe for cats? If I google it, it tells me this could be posinous for them

This product is safe when used as designed. If your pet were to chew into the item, or to get the buckwheat bag out, you'll want to take it away as it is not intended to be digested.
What material is it made out of?

The outside is made of plush polyester, and the inside contains a buckwheat pouch that can be warmed to provide comfort to your cat or kitten.
My new little dog is very interested in chewing this toy. Is it appropriate for her to chew it?

Right size

I did heat it up in the microwave as directions say but my cat didn't fall in love with it. I actually got it so she would carry that out of my bedroom instead of all my house slipper socks when she wants attention or food. Now it's on the floor along with 6 socks. I'll keep trying to heat it up now & then for her though but I think she just prefers to sit/sleep on me and try to crowd the dog out of his spot.

Snuggly pillow!

I finally caught my kitty snuggling this and using it as a pillow. He had his arms hugged around it with his head snuggled on it. It was the most adorable thing ever!

Cat snuggler

I wasn't sure that why this would be something cats would like to lay on, but they do. We have 3 cats and the female absolutley loves it. I don't know what it is, but I see her laying on it all the time.

Caught on fire

This caught on fire in the microwave. I don't recommend heating it. I put outside in wet grass and it was still burning so I put in a puddle of water on my recycling bin and it burned a crevice into the lid.

Great purchase

Bought for kittens and they still love it as newly adult. Good construction, holds up to rigorous play and multiple washings!! When it dies I will buy another!!

My cat absolutely loves this toy!!

The second my cat saw this he started purring louder than ever! About 20 minutes later he would not leave his new friend alone. He sleeps and plays with his new friend.

Not worth the money, unfortunately.

I wanted my kitten to like this so much, but the vet's office (where she's spent a lot of time due to all kinds of issues) uses a tube sock with rice in it, and she much prefers that over this toy.

Cat cuddle toy

Although this is listed as a cuddle toy I don't find it to be cuddly. It is a bit on the stiff side. When I think cuddly I think soft. That being said the cat can play with it.
