How wide is the opening? Is it suitable for a water turtle?

This will be suitable depending on the size. The overall height is 2.25”. The front length is 9” from outside edge to outside edge. The width is 6.75” from front to back outside edges. The front opening is 3.5” wide by 2” high and the sides are 4.5” wide by 1.5” high.
is this safe for pythons? looking for another hiding area for a 2ft (will be 4ft)

sunning platform

This was to big for my turtle's home but it is really nice. Its sturdy and seems like it would be easy to climb on.

Basking Ramp

My turtle loves to be out of the water at times. So I thought this would be perfect . I wish this ramp was just a little bigger she enjoys it but she looks so big on it lol.

Not what described

I received the product today after talking with customer service to make sure it would be a good fit for a adult bearded dragon and they stated it would. It's small enough for a small baby bearded dragon. It's not the dimensions described.

Perfect for basking

I placed this on the warm side of my leopard gecko's tank. She loves hiding under it and climbing on top to use it as a basking area under her lamp. It is very sturdy and heavy.
