Great for a small 6 month old Ball Python
I got this for my young ball python, Sir Reginald. He doesn't like soaking, so it's the perfect size for him. It is porous in some places, but I usually clean it out every couple of days, so it's fine as is. I love how it looks in his forest themed enclosure.
Not colored as pictured
I am attaching the picture of the pool I received. I ordered "tan" and received this, which is distinctly grey. I had wanted it to match a bowl I already had. It isn't close the the "tan" in the Chewy picture. It might be possible I was sent the wrong color by whoever packed my order, but Chewy is really good about order accuracy. I am going to keep it and use it despite it being grey because I need it, but I hope people will look at my picture if they want tan, because it isn't.
Great size and function
It has a great design for the animal to get out of the bowl with little stepping stones. Holds a good amount of water and is heavy enough to not get knocked over. Also looks natural enough for that style tank.
Porous material
I had to return these due to the porous material and rough surface which will definitely hold bacteria.
I wish more companies were like Chewy

Large and heavy I would recommend it made off a cement and smooth on the inside easy to clean looks like a real bolder
