    Easy Does It

    By NONI10 on Jun 25, 2019

I used this in between the Pet Guard topical flea treatment. SKIM gently through the their fur around the tail where the survivors hang out. This makes for very happy cats and cat mom. PLEASE read the instructions and DO NOT SATURATE the fur.

    Easy to use

    By on

This is easy to use, leaves just a trace of the oil in coat. Smell is light & pleasant. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the fleas aren't bad yet so it hasn't really been put to the test. If the cedar doesn't repel them effectively though I don't think it will be any problem to try something else in the brush.

    Great but Stinks

    By on

My product arrived as if it was 2nd-hand. I used it but I had to complain because I was convinced I'd been sent a previously used product, the packaging was awful, damaged etc. I contacted Chewy & was sent a replacement immediately. I have to say that I love this. It smells like a banshees war-cry but it seems to work. My dog is pitbull x & has short hair but very thick, so, Frontline & other topicals were not getting to his skin because of the thickness of his fur. He loves being brushed & this seemed like a good solution. Since brushing him, I watched fleas jump off, & since brushing him daily, which he adores, I see nothing & he's not scratching or biting. It smells horrific though My product arrived as if it was 2nd-hand. It smells horrific though, a bit like paraffin, but I will assure you it's not flammable, despite that it smells like it should be! The stink wears off after a few hours. This is not for small dogs, the brush teeth are quite wide, definitely not for small dogs. It's heavy, it might leak, but I don't mind that because I use that leakage to put on my fingers & put on my dog's underarms, underlegs. You can't brush those areas, right? Overall, I like this. Stinks to high heaven but it seems to work. … more

    Like a champ!

I like this brush! the only thing is when it gets low hard to brush under the dog and get the oil out. Lots of ways around it but when your trying to be quick, slows ya down a little!

    CedarcideLiquidspray

    By on

The brush was too big for my dog and cat. When the kitten gets bigger, it may work for her. The cedarcide liquid, however, worked incredibly well. Don't use too much at one time though, because the smell is pretty strong, not bad, but strong. I sprayed the liquid onto a flea comb, and that worked well. The fleas were gone within a few weeks or less.

Can be used as a topical treatment

    By on

There was a death in my family, taking my time away from my dear dog. So far, he has not been able to handle commercial flea treatments. The reason that I wanted to try this was because it was topical and I could always give him a bath if he starts reacting to the treatment. Sorry I wasn't able to be more help.

    Easy holistic anti-flea appication brush

    By on

Clever invention, just put the nice smelling cedar oil in the handle and do a quick brush on dog. You can measure amount to use with scale on back side of brush if wanted, doesn't take alot. Roller ball brush bristles deliver oil to skin under coat. You do have to reapply for walks, it's a layering method to use with flea combing. Brush is a bit drippy but keep in it's special brush holder and use those contents for refilling.

Easiest and best way to use Cedarcide

    By on

As many of you are aware cats hate the sound of a spray bottle so this is a god send when it comes to applying Cedarcide to my cat. The brush is a little big but still works great. My cat has a thick, double layer of hair so it was hard to get the Cedarcide to where it was most needed but this makes application a breeze. I would definitely recommend this.
