We have a LGD pup that is too young for flea/ tick meds, too hairy for collar. Farm with woods = multiple ticks everyday. 25 to date. This product has been a huge blessing. Since applying in 2 weeks Time we’ve only found 2 crawling on her fur after a walk out back, unlike the many engorged ones before. The smell is mild, think cedar chest. Even the cats don’t seem to mind a little and if it means nobody’s feeding future ticks that’s a big win.
I've been buying this product from CHEWY , going on 4 years now... Since I got my pup. He is a 85 LB , German Shepherd.. and it's always done the trick. Never had any fleas. You'll want to do it year round , however, if you want to keep ticks away too. It's a very strong product... Meaning , the cedar smell and oil will be overwhelming if you use too much. So use accordingly, to your pup's situation. I must say as well.. That I love that it's natural. No harmful side effects in my case. Another plus, is you can even spray a little around. Your doors or wherever needed , to keep spiders away. That's for my own use though.
