High quality harness
This harness is the best I’ve ever purchased. Laci (our shepherd/ texas heeler mix) weighs 70 lbs and she can tear up a harness in no time. This one she can’t. I never leave it on her unless we are going out to the vet or hiking but previous harnesses have moved around so much we spend more time fixing it than hiking. This harness STAYS PUT! She doesn’t mind it at all. I especially love the “handle” which is directly above her shoulders so I have complete control when we are waiting for other dogs/people to pass by. It’s made really well. It’s not flimsy AT ALL. I 100% recommend this harness.
Great harness
I purchased this harness for my 6 month old goldendoodle, who is quite spunky and walking was a battle of the wills. I usually lost. Not now! He doesn’t even try to pull with this harness. It’s not that he can’t pull, it’s not restrictive. He just doesn’t want too. It’s very comfortable on him. He has quite the mane and hot days it doesn’t burn him up.it’s very easy to put on him. I love it, he loves it. I am purchasing another one for my smaller breed pup as well. Great harness.
High quality harness for an amazing price!!
Loved this harness while it lasted, but at no fault of the producer, just my derpy giant dogs, I have 2 Anatolian Shepard/cane corso mix pups who just turned a year old and are already pushing 100+ pounds, we’ve had these harnesses for the last 4 or so months, have used them daily for our dogs and got them in a size x-large, they’re durable and my mutts can’t slip out of them which I love, they are very durable harnesses and hold up well in the washer just let them air dry, the only downfall of these harnesses is that the clasps are plastic and my beloved derpy dog managed to slam his sister into our car trailer resulting in one of the clasp to break, but if you have large dogs and want a reliable harness for taking them out and about this one will be your go to for the price and quality of the harness, definitely buying another one to replace the broken one!
Perfect for SuzyQ
Fits perfectly, comfy for SuzyQ and I have better control of my big puppy. I have a breakaway necklace (collar) for her and she would get away from me if she didn’t want to go. Now she trusts me a lot more and still thinks she’s in control
Not easy to use
Very difficult to adjust size, which makes it difficult to use as you have to loosen the front to get it over your dog's head, then tighten it once it is on. When you use the front lead ring the harness twists and allows your dog to pull its leg out. Very disappointed in this harness.
Best harness ever. Lasts forever!
I've bought two of these for my two beagles. The first one I bought about 8 or 9 years ago, still going strong. Color has faded a bit from washing in the washing machine. The second one has been going for almost 6 years despite the fact that the dog keeps scratching it when worn (does the same with any harness or collar). I followed the sizing instructions and they fit well. One is size Medium and the other Small. If and when they finally break I'm getting the same again!
Good Quality
If you have a small breed dog this harness is a little too heavy. It was nice and good quality. We will not be using it and I probably should have returned it but, I did not.
Fantastic harness!
We love this harness so far! Our golden is never thrilled with anything that needs to be slid over her face, but this harness hasn't been a problem for her! Before we ordered, we took her measurements for a correct fit. It arrived and ended up too small. I reached out to Chewy and they immediately helped me out so I could get an XL ordered instead. (Amazing customer service!) If you have a medium/large dog like our golden, I recommend sizing up after you use this product's measurement chart.The harness's quality is fantastic, the reflective strips work great, and our girl doesn't pull at all in it. I also loved having a pink option to buy! Overall, definitely recommend!
Bought second one
I bought an orange one of these four years ago for our now 6 year old 65 lb lab mix after a disappointing purchase of another brand from a pet store made mostly of straps that frayed after a couple months. This one is sturdy with hooks on back and chest for the leash. It also has a strong handle on the back which I have used to hold him in place when needed. The older one is still in great shape, just a bit faded, and the only reason I bought a new one (red this time) is because my water dog gets in every pond, stream or puddle and it has started to smell. I wash it in a bucket and hang it to dry, but some of the pond odor won’t come out anymore. We still use it when I know we’re going near water as it is still functional—strong buckles and no fraying. The new one looks as sturdy and well made as the other so I look forward to many more years of walks. Highly recommend!
4th Harness
This is the best of harnesses I have tried so far. Miss Frankie is a definite puller on walks and this alleviated 80%. I love how sturdy it is. I have tried several other harnesses that were recommended by friends & family. Love the handle on back for extra holding power. I will definitely buy another or similar item when she outgrows this
