Good Product
I'm giving them 3 stars because my Pit didn't like it at all as he does with other product, other than that i'm about to get a German Sheperd soon so hopefully he loves it!!! Not saying it's Bad just my dog didn't liked it :( Not waste of money tho
Dog likes the taste
I have only used this product for a week. So far I have not seen results for my dog as to his scratching and licking his paws. I am hopeful, over time, that the next few weeks will result in a change. If anyone has any suggestions, they are appreciated.
Dog still loves it!
Well, there’s a reason why this is my second review of this oil. I wouldn’t repurchase it if I wasn’t very pleased with it. My dog still loves it; she gets a squirt or two with every feeding. And if I happen to forget to do it, she is not very enthusiastic about eating her meal. Her coat is still very soft and shiny, a testament to how well the oil works. In fact, our doggo loves it so much that the presence of the oil in her food prevents her from upturning the dog bowl and scattering her food across the carpet. This is a behavior that she learned as a pup (long before we introduced the oil into her diet). She dumps her food on the floor and then eats it that way. But whenever the oil is mixed in with the food, she eats straight from the bowl like a proper beast. So, all other benefits aside, the oil is worth the purchase for the prevention of food spillage. Chewy's customer service is easily accessible and their service reps are great. I have not used the product. I am sure when I do I will be satified. The product will be used within the next week.
Tasty Salmon Oil for you Puppy!
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I love that the Chew & Heal Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil comes with a pump to disperse the product. The pump is easy to attached, easy to open and easy to close. The directions on the bottle are very clear as to how many pumps I should be giving my dog. In the past we have tried Salmon Fish Oil pills and my dog would pick them out of her food. I love how this Salmon Oil can easily be dispersed amongst her food, she cannot pick it out of her food, and it's easier for her to digest as opposed to the Salmon Fish Oil Pills. Overall I would say my dog likes the Chew & Heal Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil, if she didn't she wouldn't eat her food with it. Thanks for the product!
Good supplement
I have three small dogs and it is important to me to give them a source of healthy omega-3 fatty acids from wild Alaskan salmon. I like that this comes with a squirt pump to easily distribute the oil into foods rather than trying to get my dogs to eat a pill. It comes sealed and once opened, you have to use within 90 days. With three dogs, this could go fairly quickly but I will have to monitor it to truly see how long it takes to finish the product. The smell isn't too overpoweringly fishy. We are using this on our labs food and see such a big difference in his coat and flakey skin. He is not scratching at all! Great purchase!
Nearly perfect treat
Our dog has loved all the products we've purchased here, and this one is no exception. She loves this oil. We've had problems with her dumping her food bowl onto the carpet and then picking at her food, spreading it around, and usually leaving a mess for us to clean up. But squirting this oil into the bowl solves that issue; she wolfs the food right down. We aren't able to assess how well the oil promotes a healthy coating if fur since we're already giving her chews that serve the same purpose. But my wife and I can certainly attest that smell of the oil to our human noses isn't awful. There really isn't a gross, fishy odor. It's not overpowering, either, so you won't notice it wafting from the food bowl. All in all this is a successful purchase for our dog. Good for skin
Although this seems to be working for their itchy skin, neither one of them like the salmon flavor. I had given them a hickory flavor salmon they both loved, so I am now looking into finding that flavor. Only giving 2 stars and not recommending in case your dog doesn’t like plain salmon flavor
Pets loved it-no strong odor!

We have been looking for omega oil that we could add the their food as a daily supplement. We use 2 pumps of this in their food bowls everyday and they eat it with no problems. Some omega oils we have tried have a very fishy smell--this does not. I also put some on my cats food this morning and they really liked it. Omega oil has a ton of benefits for animals and I'm happy with this product.
