How many treats in the container
Answer by ChewyAug 31, 2020
The quantity of treats will vary due to this product being based on weight.

Has the formula changed recently? My latest tub are all identical and orange, when normally there is some variety. My dog ate it in an hour when it normally takes a week to chew through one.
Answer by ChewyMay 28, 2021
These treats are made using a careful drying process which can result in slight color variations. They are 100% free of preservatives and binding agents for an all-natural treat you can trust.

Are these the hard version? Super chewer

Smelly & not super long lasting, but definitely dog-approved

As others have said, this brand of yak chew seems to be a bit softer than others. I can usually give my dogs a single chew that lasts them over a week, but they will finish one of these off within the day. They also seem to like these ones a little bit more- with the other ones they'll chew for a while and then leave it to go do something else, but these ones they'll keep chewing until they're done. I think that's because these are a little bit smellier- I don't personally think it's a great smell (a little bit like sour feet) but it's not overpowering and obviously the dogs like it. I haven't decided if I'll buy these again when I run out. I thought I was saving some money by getting these in bulk, but with them going through them so fast I think I might end up spending more in the end!

Not worth $150

These do not last as long as others, but I bought them for the value. They are now charging $150 for what was $35 two months ago. I understand supply and demand, but not capping an item like this is ludicrous. Frozen carrots it is.

These were smaller then usual

I love the price point and I love the amount you get, but the width of these ones are much smaller than the last few I purchased. If you have 50+ lb pups, you should go up a size (although the bigger size has been on backorder for weeks). I will say these don't have air holes in em and don't break easily, which makes for a long lasting chew.

Not good quality

My large dog was able to chew one of these down to a small piece within an hour. Other brands I've gotten before it takes her a day or two. These are not good quality. Don't waste your money if your dog is a strong chewer. Might be fine for smaller dogs.

Good price, solf chews compared to most brands

Usually my dogs stay busy chewing these for hours, this kind specifically did not hold up to those standards. More like a 30 minute chew and brittle if dropped , will break in half. Although fail

Dane Approved Cheese Stick

These are one thing that my growing Great Dane puppy will spend portions of every day chewing on. They are minimal mess, last longer than most chew treats and aren't harmful like rawhide.

Dog loves it ; "chewmeter" is a little off

My dog LOVES cheese; we loves these chews. I wanted a safe bone for her to chew on and that took up a decent bit of time to consume. (Rawhides aren't good for dogs; antlers can shatter and be swallowed / tear them up inside, etc.) I LOVE that this cheese has the ability to be turned into a cheese puff when it gets too small. My one complaint with this variety pack is how long it takes my dog to get through a chew. We purchased a yak cheese chew from ?another company? (they seem the same to me) called Himalayan Pet Supply Cheese Chews that took her over a week to widdle it down before it needed "puffed". Well, she can chew through one of the bones from this pack within a day, which makes me think they're way softer. Both this pack and the original we had purchase from the Himlayan company have similar branding / infographics - maybe the same company? However, this variety pack does not seem to be the same "8" on the chewmeter, as the "8" on the Himalayan brand cheese chew... She still loves to chew them, but we definitely get less time out of the pack than I was hoping for.
