What does it smell like?

Can this be used after a week of applying advantix II? Bathing our dogs only last two weeks and advantix last four? Wanted to make sure it doesn't strip away topical flea meds.

My dog smells great

This product makes my dog smell like shes been to the salon. I would recommend this spray if you have a odor problem with your furfriend. It kept my dog smelling fresh for about a week. It was easy to apply and work into her coat. And she never licked herself after I put it on like some deodorants that I have used before.

Freya smells amazing

Just purchased the deodorizing spray and let me tell you it’s the best kind I’ve got yet! It smells heavenly and don’t leave a “wet dog” smell. Highly recommend. She smells so good I’m jealous

no smell from this product

I was expecting way more from a CHI product especially since it was a "deodorizing" spray. My sister in law bought the shampoo for her dog and it smells AH-MAZING!! This spray hadn o smell at all. Maybe it's just me and I didn't fully read the description and just went on an assumption.

a must for after doggie daycare!

My standard poodle gets regular baths and grooms but sometimes after daycare he smells like a wet dog! I give him a liberal spray and he is good to go! It does have a more ‘masculine’ smell, but it’s not too strong. He & I have sensitive skin and it’s not irritating as it only touches his hair.

Smells and Irritates Dog's Skin

This is not an odor neutral spray but smells like a cheap cologne or body spray. I used it once and my Newfoundland’s skin was red all over and he started itching. He typically does not have sensitive skin so I was surprised by the reaction. Gave him a bath and 24 hours later his skin is back to normal. Would not recommend.

Someone smells nice!

My dog can truly be my best friend after a few spritz. This spray also saves me $20 the groomer charges for the same scent

Wasn't overly impressed

I am one that doesn't like my dog to smell like dirty dog!! She is an active, lab mix that likes to be outside running and rolling in the grass. With that being said, she also like to cuddle up with you at the end of the day. I apparently had too high of an expectation of the CHI dog products. I am a "human" CHI consumer and usually love their products. Spray was sticky and didn't have much of a scent. What scent I could smell only lasted a day or so. Oh well...lesson learned.

Short acting odor control. Smells like men's cheap cologne. Made my Shih Tzus coat gummy feeling.

Disappointing - unpleasant scent

Wanted to love this as I enjoy the human products. Maybe I got a bad batch as it smelled flowery in a bad way-nothing like the positive reviews. This was more a cheap perfume you find in the drugstore markdowns that nobody wants. I tried it a few times, hoping the smell would mellow out with time, but, that didn’t work for us.
