Like the other reviewer, I washed my dogs with this and then set it on the side of my white acrylic tub to dry. I moved it earlier tonight and found a bright red vivid stain on my tub. This is after shampooing two dogs with it. Baking soda pretty much removed it, but I had to spend 30-45 minutes scrubbing to get the spot out.
Don't buy this. I have many Chi grooming products and supplies and this wet/dry brush is my worst Chi purchase. We used it for the first time recently on my golden retriever. I didn't wash the brush before using. I just rinsed it with hot water and then applied the soap and used the brush on my dog. It's functional as a wet brush, but the real problem was after the bath. I left this brush on the side of the tub to dry out a bit, and it stained the entire area with red dye. I tried cleaning the dye off the tub with various products, even bleach, with no luck. Luckily, my fiancé had some paint thinner which finally got the red stain off. I'm really surprised my almost white golden retriever didn't get stained! This item is not worth the hassle, pick another brush.
