They're eating it, but kind of begrudgingly because I've removed all of their other food. It's not as bad as Evolve Classic (they'd rather starve), but not nearly as good as Taste of the Wild (which they adore). Barley, rice and potatoes are 3 "filler" ingredients in a row which might be why they're not digging this food, although that doesn't make sense because Purina Cat Chow is ALL fillers and they inhale it (but no more, as I'm switching them to healthy food). I don't think I'd buy this again. It's $4.60 less than Taste of the Wild, but not worth it if they don't enjoy it. And for kitten food I expected more protein... 36% is not bad, but Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain flavor has 42% protein They're eating it, but kind of begrudgingly because I've removed all of their other food. The big bowl is what's left of their Purina Cat Chow. The empty bowl is Taste of the Wild. The full bowl on the right is Evolve Classic (they didn't touch it), and the bowl on the left is Chicken Soup for the Soul, which they only started nibbling at because it's all that's left. … more

  • If ingredients are important to you & you actually read labels you feed this

    By on

Read the labels read the labels! Those extraordinarily high priced foods do not compare, nether do the median priced ones. What a grand surprise to of found the Chicken soup line of foods. All you need to do is read the labels you will be shocked that you can spent 3 times more for much lower levels of ingredients, and so far I personally have not found any foods that offer what chicken soup does, at any price..

The kitten just kind of sniffed and didn’t eat, but my senior absolutely love this food.

The babies love it, and I do too. Odor in litter box reduces and the itty bitty kitty is putting weight on quickly

  • Dry Cat Food

    By on

My kitten loves this food and its small enough bits she can chew it easily. She is looking very healthy so I am sure this is going to be part of her life into adulthood and we will progress to the adult cat formula. Great product.

  • Great kitten food!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

We started out with the kitten chow that he'd been on when we got him, but after just a month or so it was obvious Simon was getting bored! He was more interested in the dogs' food then his... or not eating! I decided to try something else, but didn't want to spend a fortune. I'm very impressed, and so is Simon! He loves it! His coat has gotten super soft and shiny and I like that it's affordable.
