My 2 old dogs are not picky eaters by any means, but I can definitely tell when they really like something. They go crazy for this Chicken Soup food, like they do for their treats..which are whole carrots or baked sweet potatoes. We've tried the whole gamut of popular 'grain free' and 'limited ingredient My 2 old dogs are not picky eaters by any means, but I can definitely tell when they really like something. They go crazy for this Chicken Soup food, like they do for their treats..which are whole carrots or baked sweet potatoes. We've tried the whole gamut of popular 'grain free' and 'limited ingredient' food out there because our Bernese mix developed skin and allergy issues after a round of immunizations he received at an older age. Haven't found a food that has noticeably improved his immunity...he's stuck on the Apoquel. But he is a 100# 13 year old dog that just started leaping over our 4 foot fence again, hadn't done that in a long while. … more

Our very picky dogs love this so far! Both clean their bowls which is something they have not been doing with other dry dog food in quite some time.

Rusty's new food
By Mindy on Sep 22, 2020
The vet suggested to update Rusty's food and luckily, Chewy had the same brand in the mature formula as we were feeding him in the small dog one. He actually picks out the new food and leaves the rest; however, he still has a whole bin to go before he is on the new food exclusively. So easy to order and have it delivered. I even ordered back in March and got his food delivered even though it took a bit longer. Well worth it to use this company.

Love it! Delicious******

My 13yr old St Poodle & 11yr old Yorkie love Mature Chicken Soup for the Soul. No toppings or table food for these Seniors. Just gobble up their morning/dinner meals. And Chewy Charcoal/Mint biscuits once a day keep their breath nice and fresh. Thank you, Brooke & Zuzu

Senior Lab Approved
By Chloe on Aug 14, 2020
My lab turned 9 in April and I'd noticed that she had slowed down a lot recently. We tried supplements thinking some joint support would help, but they didn't seem to make a difference, so her vet prescribed pain meds to take "as needed". She needed it more days than she didn't, and she still mostly just wanted to lay around the house. I started looking for a new food primarily to make sure she wouldn't gain weight and decided to give this a try after reading through the ingredients. This food has gone above my expectations. After about a month her coat is shinier, she is more excited to eat her food, and her energy level has MAJORLY increased. She has gone from total couch potato, to initiating play and running around the yard with our other (much younger) dog! I literally cried when I saw her chasing him. And, I have only had to give her the pain medication once or twice over the last few weeks! … more
