Fabulous puppy food
I have used this brand for the past 12 years for my dogs (when they are puppy's). 2 Yorkie Poo's, and now a Yorkie. It's great nutrition, and has never let us down. After the puppy version we switch to Mature recipe due to the fat content, and Yokie's tend to have fat issues / pancreitis.
Teeny tiny pieces...terrible for training
So I kind of hate this food. I have a now 6.5 month old puppy that is contrary to her breed and a picky eater. I switched from Purina pro puppy to this. What I hate is how tiny this food is. I was expecting pellets the same as in the adult food because of the description. It's impossible to use this food for training sessions and when she throws a tantrum in her crate and dumps her bowl it takes forever to pick up all the little pieces. I can't wait until this bag is gone and I can switch to something else. I'm going to start giving some mixed to my adult dog to expedite.
Outstanding!
Our family welcomed a 8 week old Australian Labradoodle back in July. While researching what to get him, so many had quality control problems (people receiving bags of moldy food, etc) or just didn't provide a good balance of nutrition for a puppy. This food has always come very fresh and loaded with quality nutrients. My sister-in-law told me about this food as she had used it for her Labs a couple years prior. I could tell from day one that the transition from the breeders food to this was going to be successful. I let Rory try a handful of the food and he inhaled it, something he never did on the other food. We had him fully transitioned in a matter of days. The food has provided him with wonderful tools to grow, the vet has even been impressed with his growth and health. The balance of the food also allows Rory to remain regular bowl movements and full of life. We highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality product for their new family member!
Bag leaked in transit
More than half the dog food leaked in transit and could not use it. Will not be purchasing dog food from chewy again

Puppy is not a fan
I think this food is great. Quality ingredients and perfect size for a tiny puppy. My Frenchton puppy disagrees though so we'll be trying something else. He's picky with treats too

Just got a new puppy and seems to be allergic to everything. He hated the taste of this food too.
Puppy loves this food
Our breeder uses this product for puppies so we continued at home. Our puppy never leaves a kibble untouched and seems to work well with his digestive system. Our Mini-Aussie is happy and very active on this food.

Love this puppy food!!
Received a small bag of food (different brand) for my Boston Terrier puppy upon purchase and therefore had to switch his food much more rapidly than desired. I switched to CSFTS and had zero issues. Bruiser absolutely loves this food. He eats the dry puppy food and I free feed him. He also gets the food for his treats. He gobbles up the treats, yet “grazes” throughout the day with his bowl of food. He is a perfect weight and very muscular with a soft, glossy coat. No stomach issues at all. Tons of energy! Unless something changes, Bruiser will stay on the CSFTS brand for life. Also, shout out to Chewy! The absolute best business I have ever dealt with in my entire life !!!
