What are the measurements of the actual door and how much space will it allow for the Chickens to come through?

The dimensions of the ChickenGuard Classic Door Kit are 12 x 16 inches. The door covers your existing coop's entrance, measure your entrance to find the amount of space your chickens will have to come through.
Do you set the timer or does it shut & open by sunlight & darkness?

This kit opens and closes your chicken coop using a timer and light sensor.
Can 110 be used via usb ?

The unit is battery operated and includes the 4 x AA batteries that you will need. Alternatively, you could power with electric, via USB cables, although we do not provide the cables.

Awesome Chicken Door

I've actually had this for several years now. I LOVE IT!!! I will never go back. I did try a solar one for a while and it was hit and miss. This one is almost totally full proof. Yes the batteries will run down in cold weather so you do have to check it occasionally, but it's sooooo nice not having to worry about them anymore. Opens and shuts like clockwork everyday!!!!! Actual times we have had to mess with it meaning change batteries, re-set it over the last 3 years probably change batteries 2 times a year and change the closing and opening with daylight savings time. (2 times a year) It's awesome!!!!!
