what about neck size for your dogs with big neck, pitties

To select the best size, we recommend that you measure your dog's body length and neck girth (width). To measure the length, you'll measure starting at the base of the neck and end at the base of the tail. To measure the neck girth, measure around your pet's neck leaving room for two fingers. If the dog happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size. For the complete sizing chart, please refer to the photo below:

Warm, Well-Made & Beautiful

This is a beautiful, high-quality item that my dog wears regularly. It's warm and very well-made. It does not have a hole for her harness straps to go through, so just keep that in mind. I put the harness over the sweater for walks, but if your dog is already on the outer limits on the adjustable straps for his or her harness, this may not be for you (or would be an in-door only sweater).

Best sweater

These are very well made and I like that they are ethically sourced and supported by the people that make them. I have another one from the same place and I’m very happy with both of them. I would recommend this to anyone. For the record I usually don’t do reviews but these sweaters warrant one!

Cute Sweater

This is super cute for my granddog, Iris. she weighs 45 lbs and I got an XL, which fits her perfectly. 4 stars because there is no hole at the back of the neck for her leash.

Favorite sweater!

We have several Chilly Dog sweaters and this one and the identical one in red are our favorite by far! The fit is perfect, XL for our 55 pound goldendoodle. Extremely well made and super warm!

Sizing off

I bought this for my girls(both cockers) I got a large and med this is what they wear. I love this alot , it is thigh and nice since I keep them shaved. the problem I have is the sizing. I have alway bought them Lg and Med, so I did once more. The issue is after they wear them and stretch them they are WAY TO BIG. So now I have to deal with that bc I am not buying another one. So if you think this this work please go down a size. After to wearing it will stretch and be normal for them.

I LOVE IT!

My dog is a Great Dane/Great Pyrenees and has a huge chest. I can almost never find any fun shirts/sweaters/costumes to fit her. She loves to wear them when I can find them, and she was SO excited to wear her new sweater! She's a LEAN 110 lbs, very tall and thin girl and the xxxl fits her. Albeit- it's ALMOST too small, but we'll consider it a win!

Great Winter Sweater

I Love Chewy, and purchases like this wonderful winter sweater includes only one of the many reasons why. This sweater is made very well, thick and soft at the same time. It will keep my 10-pound Shi-poo warm and comfortable. And, as a bonus, the sweater is absolutely beautiful. The fit is great, even for a couple pounds up, or down. Another winner, Chewy!

Sweaters fit well and look great.

Purchased two sweaters for 2 corgis. It is usually very hard for me to get the right size for our dog's apparel. These sweaters worked well. We had to get 2 different sizes as one girl is trim and the other is stocky. Both fit and they were easy to put on and off.

beautiful, nicely made, but no hole for the leash

This is such a pretty sweater and it looks great on her, but you need to add a hole below the turtleneck for a leash and collar to hook up.

Beautiful sweaters I purchased. All were different prices and brands. Will keep my poodle warm with easy care and size was true on accuracy
