I have 2 pit bulls that weigh about 70 lbs what size would I buy ? Don’t want it to shrink when washed and not fit again.

For the best fit, we recommend measuring your pet and matching your pet's measurements as closely as possible to the sizing chart. To measure your pet's body length, measure the base of the neck to the base of the tail. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two. IS THIS WASHABLE?

It is recommended to hand wash in cold or machine wash on gentle cycle in cold. Do not use heat or hot water. Lay flat to dry. Or Dry Clean.
Is this sweater true to size??

Going by weight is usually the best gage for size. They run larger then acrylic sweaters made in China.

Reporting for duty!

Bentley absolutely loves this sweater! The fit is perfect (which is difficult with a large barrel chest) and he is definitely warm when he has it on. As soon as I put it on him, he “tucked” around in circles and was ready to go outside and play in the cold! I ordered the 2xl, even though he is 85 lbs. It has a lot of give. I don’t recommend sizing up at all.

This sweater fell apart with one snag from tage removal.. literally the yarns are coming undone.. not made for real life dogs to wear or people to handle. I have a pile of yarn and an expensive sweater gone wild.. made poorly, do not purchase unless you can knit!!

Squirrel Patrol Sweater

The Squirrel Patrol Wool Dog Sweater was better than anticipated. The sweater fits my large dog perfectly and the quality gives the appearance of hand knit. My Catahoula mix was so comfortable and warm, which made him enjoy the brisk air walk so much more.

Get this sweater

I love this sweater, and my dog actually wants to wear it. The high collar keeps it from falling around his collar bones and stretching out. The material is soft and thick. Easy to wash.

These Chilly Dog sweaters are so nicely made and so thick. Definitely worth the money, especially if you can find them on sale. The squirrel patrol patch on this one is so cute!

Now On Duty

ADORABLE sweater, well made

Down to the great Squirrel Patrol patch, this sweater is very well made and will elicit not just complements, but envy amongst other dog owners, and fear amongst squirrels. There is not a stray knit or yarn and I believe it will stand up to machine washing too. It doesn't stretch so error on ordering up if in between sizes.
