Our dog's favorite toy!

If your dog likes playing fetch in the water, this is an ideal toy. It floats, doesn't get smelly with the water, and is a great shape and texture both for the dog and the human. When we bring multiple toys to the beach, our biggest problem is that all the other dogs seem to want this one and lose interest in their own toys!

Ever see a dog get so excited she yips and jumps around with her whole body wiggling....well, that is exactly what my dog looks like when this toy comes out. It's durable, floats well and is good for all sizes of dog. I highly recommend trying it.

Used this at the beach, it didn't last the day. My puppy likes to tug, but it wasn't a lot of tugging. The top piece that the string is attached to came off, it is only secured with glue.I would expect this to be securely attached. Don't waste your money.

It is real lightweight and floats great even easy to throw. But I couldn't get my dog to play with it much in the water but the few times she did she punctured it. So I'm not sure how long it would last with a big chewer.

My shepherd previously was terrified of water. Then, one day, it was very hot in Florida so I took her to a lake and she saw other dogs chasing this, and it was all over: she was running into the water and eventually even swimming about whenever I threw this toy! For some reason, no other toys did the trick. Now, she continues to be obsessed with it and will chase it into almost any body of water; out of the water, she runs around with it in her mouth like nunchucks. Do note that it won't last long if your dog tugs at it or plays with it hard; that's the only reason it's not 5 stars for me.

I don’t usually review dog toys, but for some reason this one was an instant favorite for my shih tzu and my two foster dogs (a chihuahua and terrier mix). They carry it around by the string and use the main part as a chew toy. It even helped my foster puppy enjoy being in the baby pool, which she used to be afraid of. I’ll have to order more of these! We ordered the small size which was perfect for all three dogs ranging from 10 lbs to 18 lbs.

Expect some damage

The tether was chewed off in the first outing. Luckily overall it has held up in the first 5 with pit bull mix dog. The fabric does show signs of punctures, but no tearing or falling apart. It does float high in the water which makes it a good visual for dog. Easy to toss and you can even make skip across the water. I would hesitate in buying another one.

I bought this for my dog to play with in his new "kiddie" pool. I wanted something I could toss into the pool for him to catch and it is great. I also just toss it across the yard for him to retrieve. He loves it. I use the rope to swing it and get some momentum and it goes a decent distance. I like that it floats too. He had a blast grabbing it out of the water and the yard.
