Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

I had the original or regular version of this, but Falric (at nine months old) seemed like he could almost choke on the medium-sized Chuckit! balls. I decided to size up to the large, (the XL seemed like it might be too large) and they're perfect for him. He's a 90 pound GSD and LOVES to play fetch. I also strongly recommend the tough rubber balls rather than the tennis ball type. Just fetching them he destroys the regular tennis balls in one outing. The tough ones have held up well, though the one with the squeaker stopped squeaking the first time out.
This works great. Helps me throw the ball further so my pup can get a good run while chasing the ball. You can also use it to throw squeaky latex balls which are his favorite to retrieve. Definitely recommend this product!
I have used the same chuck-it For 20 yrs I got free from a sales rep at work for promoting Metacam It recently cracked and my dog was devestated I immediately ordered another I got it and immediately went out to play ball with Frankie It is junk. The ball does not release until the end and just hits the ground The manufacturers have really screwed them up over the years. I messaged the company and even showed them a comparison photo. Never heard back It is not Chewysfault It the makers of chuck it
Totally bummed i didnt see/find the small small print about this being for a small size ball. Now buying a second one +shipping
My puppy absolutely loves this toy. She loves to be outside and fetch tennis balls and this toy makes it so easy plus we do not even have to touch the gross dirty wet ball!
The ball doesn’t come out of the thrower no matter how hard one tries to throw it.
Works very well for older people, makes me throw like a kid again!
I find that it does not throw the ball that far. the handle is too short, I had one before that is 6 inch longer. Very disappointed in this product
Great product! The 18M size is perfect for our needs. The ChuckIt ball that comes with it is heavier so it can be thrown farther but does not squeak because of it. The 18M fits the Medium Kong SqueakAir tennis balls perfectly!! We use those with this so the dogs get to squeak on the way back. I only hate I didn’t buy this sooner! It’s definitely worth the money if your dog likes to chase tennis balls and you don’t want to get your hands dirty.
Large sized tennis ball broke on first few throws. Maximus is only a 65# Border Collie Mix, usually a pretty gentle bit, we only played fetch, he never chopped down or chewed on it.
