Chuckit! Ultra Duo Tug Tough Dog Toy

I really didn't want to write a review on this because I bought the small one with one ball, because my dog is small and has a small mouth, but my Riley didn't like it. I don't think it's bad, and he does play with it sometimes.

Not so tough

So, it took about a day for my dog to chew through the band that holds the balls together. Luckily the balls are made of hard rubber so he plays with them and doesn't, can't really, chew them up. So now I have two hard rubber balls that I throw and he fetches. . . Kind of expensive for two balls.

Balls Detatched

i fully expected the toy to last because it was Chuck it brand. My Shepherds love to pair up and retrieve this toy together. I am dismayed by the fact that 30 days in, 1 ball came disconnected from the rope and the next month the other. This was not a situation of tug of war, we throw it, they retrieve it, they drop it and repeat.

durable and perfect size

my dog didnt let this ball out of his mouth for about 12 hours after he first got it and there is only a tiny chunk missing, it is tough! he is medium sized and loves mini tennis balls more than regular size so the small chuck it was perfect. 2 weeks later and it is still mostly intact. will buy again!

Okay, not great

I would give this about 3 stars, my puppy loved it but the cord between the two balls is not as durable as I would have liked, he is a tuff chewer but I thought it would have been a bit more durable. He was able to separate them pretty quick. Just keep that in mind if you have a tuff chewer at home.

My dog is a 1 year old maltidoodle

Have not had it very long. Thought it would be something that would last. Dog really likes it but it will need to be thrown out.

Better than I planned

I had a special package sent to my sister for her dogs. It was so quick, completely surprised and the speed and accuracy of the order. She was thrilled.

Fun stuff

We own 2 dogs, both being puppies albiet one is almost full grown. They love to play tug o war with us and with each other. And for fetching it is fun as it bounces erratically which keeps the dogs on their toes!

Perfect for new puppy

Putting something between you and puppy's sharp teeth is a must. This is great for that, and still interact with new pups, and well in to maturity.

It’s a great toy,he’s been playing with it maybe 3 hours and ripped the heavy duty strap so I cut it away and now he’s got both balls to play with,he’s a medium size dog (60lbs) but he is half American Bulldog/half American Staffordshire Terrier.
