Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Our dogs are heavy chewers, but they also like to play fetch. I got the two pack because they also like to argue over who gets which toy, so this way each dog gets one. As soon as I opened the pack, they were literally occupied for HOURS. Most toys and balls do not last but a few minutes, they are usually shredded right away. These are incredibly durable, easy to throw, and if your dog is a spitter like mine, they are easy to clean as well!
Our Yorkie Gizmo is tough on chew toys. Everything we gave him was destroyed within minutes. We discovered the Chuckit balls and thought we would give them a try. The Chuckit squeaker balls were destroyed in minutes, but we were surprised that the non-squeaker ball actually lasted for 14 months before Gizmo broke it. It is the longest lasting toy he ever had.
Lacey is a rescue that I think has ball OCD. Maybe she has some Labrador in her as she has this ball in her mouth a lot of the time and loves chasing it. She does bring the ball back for another throw. The ball holds up very well but my other rescue dog has destroyed one by chewing as she does not know how or care to chase a ball.
My nephew Tucker who is a Golden Retriever absolutely loves his ball. Now this ball is strong. Unlike any type of doggie tennis ball, you never need to worry about them pulling the fuzz off. Tucker carries his ball around everywhere and when resting his ball is always next to him. I buy medium balls for a 60 Lb handsome Golden.
My tough chewers love these balls. Unfortunately, I cannot purchase them anymore. Within 10 days, they do wear enough for the dog to start biting pieces of the ball off, which led to an obstruction in one of our dogs. Marble for size, a piece this small can kill your dog. Please take extra caution and get rid of toys at first sign of wear!
My 2 year old Boston terrier is a hard chewer. I have ordered several other "non-destructible" toys and stuffed animals for him and within 10 to 15 minutes they are already destroyed. I started getting him these balls only. He has around 20 of them and he always has one in his mouth toting it around. He also knows which one he had last and if it rolls under the couch , he will whine until i get it for him (even though he has a ton of others). These are his favorite and each one is the same color, shape. I will always buy these for him, seems to be the only ones he does not destroy! He even sleeps with them, one in his mouth and several in the bed.
I'm a 125 + BLS and have lots of balls and a lot I've destroyed but this ball here gives me hours of pleasure just chewing on it. If I didn't lose him so often I wouldn't have to order them so much because they stand up to my chewing abilities and I enjoy chasing them in the yard. Thank you for making such a great quality ball!
These come out of a Chuckit! like they were shot out of a cannon because their density is some much greater than that of a tennis ball. They also bounce much higher. They are extremely durable, taking a beating from the long throws and the chewing of the 50 pound terriers that love to chase and chew them. Highly recommended for their toughness!
My dog is a super chewer, and eats tennis balls in under 2min. These balls are tough and hold up to a lot of abuse. Great for fetch but also a good pacifier for her to carry around and chew without shredding.
I have dogs that will destroy a regular tennis ball and eat pieces of it. With this toy I don't have to worry about taking the ball away before they shred it. Plus I don't loose it because it isn't camouflaged in the grass!
