Chuckit! The Whistler Ball Dog Toy, Color Varies

Our pups love the ball, though they love all the balls they have, but it doesn’t whistle. Every now and then there’s an ever so slight sound for a split second then it stops. I was disappointed by that since I got it for that very specific reason. I know if it did whistle they would love it so much more, plus playing with it out in the yard would make it so much more enjoyable for them. It is something they do enjoy and for that I do recommend it, but if you’re wanting it to whistle, then don’t expect that too much from it unfortunately. Still a hit toy which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. Just doesn’t do what I bought it for.

His FAVORITE ball

My puppy LOVES these. He seems to be able to keep track of them better than the classic chuck-it (which was previously his favorite) when I throw them out in the yard. He won't even leave them outside when we're done. He picks it up to carry it back inside. He likes to chew on it, too. Seems to have just enough give that it's worth flexing his jaw on but it's tough enough that he hasn't broken one (yet) and he hasn't made a concentrated effort to tear it apart. He has 4 of them now! It's a winner.

So So

Somewhat disappointed. I had a whistling ball with only 2 holes in it, the same size as these. That ball made excellent sound when thrown. These balls, although same size and similar material, has 4 holes and makes little or no noise.

Excellent! Bought it for my border collie, Siberian husky mix because she loves balls. My Aussie also loves it. And my Australian cattle dog loves it so much over his other balls because it whistles, he loves toys that make noise.

Perfect Ball

This ball is so amazing. It’s very soft but quite durable. The air holes are a must have especially if a dog was able to choke on it for whatever reason.

Love!

River loves this ball. I can't throw worth beans but it still makes noise which gets his attention. He's a Husky and normally doesn't fetch but he did with this one!

Disappointed

Bought the Large single Whistler Ball and was disappointed in the size for the money. Since I have three large dogs I probably will not let them play with it for fear it can get stuck in mouth/throat. Would of purchased the extra large but Chewy does not carry it or Chuckit does not make one. I know some of the balls list a diameter but unless you see it in person its really hard to tell the size.

Great until they aren't

PROS - My dogs LOVE chuck it balls. They fit with the chuck it launcher we have an play ball 2-3 times a day in the back year. Generally safe compared to tennis balls. CONS - I have 2 shepherds. Give them 1 WEEK, they start splitting at the middle seam. Wish they would be more durable :(

Lightweight, fly far through the air, do not collect any debris from the grass so my dogs love them

They really do make a whistling noise which helps see where the ball is going on sunny days!
