Not tall enough & not worth the price
By Mike on Nov 25, 2020
Two main bummers here - size and cost. Size: Before I bought this I was worried it wouldn’t be tall enough for my cats to stand in. My one cat has some chonk but the other one is a petite runt. I compared the dimensions versus their traditional boxes and found they were roughly the same so I decided to buy this. It’s been a few months now and I think my tiny cat has used it twice (total) and the other hasn’t even attempted to get in. I’ve done all the traditional methods of breaking in a new litter box (i.e., scoop in some urine from the other box) to no avail. Watching the runt get in I can see how uncomfortable he is trying to figure out how to contort his body to make it work. If it Two main bummers here - size and cost. Price: This is literally just a storage tote with a hole in the lid. Should I have been skeptical of the price from the beginning? Yes. At least it’ll have a second, unintended use as a storage container as it seems very durable. … more

Great for households with dogs and cats
By Jane on Dec 12, 2020
I bought this a replacement for another one of the same design that we had before. Our small beagle likes kitty box "treats" and this works great to keep her out of the box. It's not as good for larger dogs (our golden who passed in 2015 loved her treats too!), but we solved the problem by placing it under our laundry room sink with the opening back against the wall. The cats could get in but the golden could not. It's very easy to clean as well.

Cat Litter Box.
By jenelisaN on Jan 19, 2021
Some people have trouble with the lid. If its lifted straight up without any twist, keeping it flat, it will lift easily. I love the box, no more litter around the house. With 3 big cats, thats a win for me.

try it, you'll like it
By finngirl on Oct 27, 2020
I tried many boxes over the years & finally found one that is perfect. male & female, all of my cats eagerly jump in the first time & every time. the shy ones like the privacy, the others peek out like periscopes while they "go." I provide one box for each cat & one extra. I use generous levels of clumping litter, scoop twice a day, have never used liners & never have to wash a box unless someone decides to spray. seriously. the lid sticks a little bit for the first week or so but the resin relaxes so don't worry about the initial stiffness of the corners. no more scattered litter & no seams to clean. I do not miss cleaning goopy or gritty seams in the 2-piece boxes I tried a couple times I tried many boxes over the years & finally found one that is perfect. male & female, all of my cats eagerly jump in the first time & every time. the shy ones like the privacy, the others peek out like periscopes while they "go." Too Small for my cats
By JimmieG on Nov 10, 2020
I am so disappointed. Really needed this type of litter box because one of my cats throws litter everywhere when she covers. Neither of my cats would fit comfortably enough to use the box. Also when they got on the lid the box was a little unstable. Both of my cats are older and have gotten middle age spread so if you have dainty cats this would be a good box. Please consider making a much bigger box for larger cats.

Awesome for the messy kitty!
By Julie on Oct 21, 2020
My kitty does not like to squat when she does her business, and this litter box has been a lifesaver for us. No messes and all contained nicely, very little tracking. Love how the lid lifts off for easy scooping. She has also never hesitated to use the box, so no issues going inside.

Maybe 5 stars, but too early to tell.
By Saintlunatic on Sep 24, 2020
This box is pricey, but it is very sturdy and big enough for my biggest cat. Only thing I didn't like is the lid sticks and is hard to get off without knocking litter off lid all over. But as I've had this box for over a month now, the lid seems to be getting easier to remove now. My cats all like this box and it really does help with less tracking of litter as the lid becomes easier to remove carefully now.

Less litter on the floor
By Kimk on Oct 24, 2020
I have 5(yes 5) cats. The 7 month old kittens use it the most. One likes to soin in the box when its clean & the other digs until he reaches bottom. This box has cut down on the scatter of litter.

Perfect for my boys!
By januaryy20 on Jul 26, 2020
One of my cats loves to play in the litter box. Sometimes he will hop in, play in the litter without going potty, then hop out! Because he does this, he would kick lot of litter out of the front entry-litter boxes! The top entry litter box not only stops this, but it minimizes litter tracking from the litter box when they get out of it, there’s enough room on top for them to sit or lay on it if they please, it helps with cats who are sprayers (pee on the sides- I have 2 male cats), and Clevercat is also a very durable brand! The rule of thumb is to replace the litter box every year (due to plastic material/quality and bacteria that gets caught in the plastic from when cats scratch the box/dig in the litter), but with this brand, I’d say that it could last up to two years if cleaned properly after each litter change! I bought 4 last years, and I’m buying 4 more this year! (The rule of thumb is one litter box per cat and an additional one. I have 4 because I have 2 boys; I’m preventing territory issues having the extra litter box - they are both fixed, but they’re indoor cats so territory/potty places can be potential problems). … more
