Follow your veterinarians precise instructions regarding the use of Clindamycin.
This is an oral medication (given by mouth). Always complete the entire course of prescribed medication or the infection may recur or worsen.
Give directly by mouth followed by some water or with a small amount of food.
Clindamycin prevents vulnerable bacteria from producing proteins that are essential to their growth so bacteria can no longer grow.
Clindamycin is absorbed quickly through the digestive tract and can travel to multiple organs.
Susceptible bacterial/protozoal infections should be killed and your pet should start to feel better if Clindamycin is used as directed.

I have ordered this twice from Chewy and both times the bottle was unsealed. When I get it through my vet (same brand, same exact box and bottle), it is sealed. I don’t know who is unsealing these bottles or why, but it is really disconcerting to think that someone at Chewy may be tampering with this prescription medication. It’s possible that there’s another explanation. Since the prescription is for the entire bottle, they should not be opening the manufacturer seals. Maybe someone from Chewy will comment here to let us know if there’s a reasonable explanation.
Kitty with abcess took the Clindamycin as prescribed and he's all cleared up.
One of the bottles was spilled inside the boz
I am using this for Tippy as she has dental issues and it really helps her to eat.

Our vet prescribed this for our senior dog w/ teeth issues. Works great!
This is the most vile pet antibiotic on the market and I tried a drop and I feel guilty needing to give this to our Roxie to prevent tartar going to her heart.
Just what the vet ordered! The packaged arrived with the medication well wrapped, very quickly and helped my elderly furbaby with a bad tooth. I highly recommend the pharmacy as long as they get with your vet in a timely manner.
