First of all let me state my vet prescribed half a pill a day, of the 5 mg pill, for my neutered male senior eight year old cat. He's been on the medication almost six months now.  He began showing anxiety and spraying all over the house whenever he saw a cat in the back yard. I have used Feliway plug ins, and other calming aids but nothing was working.  I clean the litter box two to four times a day.  I even use fox urine in the yard to deter cats, raccoons and other animals from coming into my yard. He wasn't sleeping, and kept meowing and yowling. The vet said to allow thirty days for the drug to get into his system, but it worked from the very first dose.  No spraying, no meowing, no pacing or running from window to window, not going into the litter box every fifteen minutes to urinate a small bit or dig around. No excessive grooming.  I send a written report to my vet every month with updates. He sleeps the normal fourteen or so hours a day. Birds in the yard don't agitate him as much.  The only negative side effect I've encountered is he seems to have some elimination issues. Every other month I've found a couple pieces of feces in the house. Once near the litter box, in the living room, and in the kitchen where he sits to eat. I think he might be dribbling a little urine as he licks himself a bit more. He's not meowing or stressed and otherwise goes into the litter box normally. It's a lot easier to clean up a couple pieces of feces than cat urine spray. … more

Not sure it's actually doing anything..... but then again.....

We have a little dachshund (just over a year) that we rescued earlier this year and he has a bit of separation anxiety. He's a great dog but tends to go off the deep end when I leave. Thanks to the virus, that hasn't been often so when I do go, he really becomes unglued. He's a great dog but tends to go off the deep end when I leave. Thanks to the virus, that hasn't been often so when I do go, he really becomes unglued. I tried all the normal routes (we only rescue dachshunds so this is not my first nervous guy) but they failed. My vet recommended this and we have had him on it for about 2 weeks. I can say that it does nothing for him when I separate the gang (we currently have 5) to take a group for the morning walk and he has to wait to be in the second crew BUT I have found that if I have to leave later in the morning (to grocery shop) he takes that news in a more calm manner and is able to be comforted better. I just had the brilliant idea to give the pill at night before bedtime to see if that will help in the morning (maybe it's not fully in his system by the time we do the a.m. walks) so we'll see if doing a nighttime dose will help. TBD. … more

    Chewy Vet Service

I recently adopted a dog, and I had some confusion about how I would be able to get his medications. The vet services were amazing and made the whole process easy!

Our dog has been on this for 6 years and it works great. He still has minor anxiety but this medication has stopped the trim chewing and also holes in the drywall

    Better pricing

My dog has been taking this medicine for several years and I had been getting it thru my vet’s mail order service. I noticed that chewy now had it available and at $20 less per 30 pills!

    Fast acting

    By on

It’s only been 2 days and my American Bulldog has shown immediate improvement. He went from shaking like a leaf and peeing everywhere when we left to calmly getting though the day with no accidents. He takes a pill every 12 hours, so relieved.

this is actually for a cat. fixed her right up, but I was breaking the tabs in half a bunch at a time. fine all winter, but this summer leaving them out on our counter turned them to dust! switched to the refrigerator and keeping them whole until just before delivery

    Great product!

This medication has changed my dog’s life! She is now living a much more fulfilling life as a calmer version of her former self! I also thought it was great how Chewy was willing to contact my vet for the prescription. Very convenient and affordable!

Very helpful for my small dog.

    By on

Our dog started acting anxious and regressing in her house training after the baby arrived, so our vet had us try Clomicalm. It’s been about a month on it and it has helped so much! Well worth the cost in my opinion.

    Clomicalm and Chewy

    By on

My German has severe separation and general anxiety, from being left alone for 20-22 hours a day locked up as a pup, it has gotten better since she has been with me but the clomicalm helps her to be able to relax and have more doggy fun with her fur sister and hooman brother and sister! Before clomicalm she broke out of her crate, while we were at work and injured her face, since clomicalm she finds her crate to be her peaceful place she can just freely enter and leave whenever she just needs a minute to chill out.

This medication is a god send !

    By on

This saved our pup and us. She was an anxious mess that could never be left alone or put in different situations. These meds, along with training, have changed our lives for the better. She is still my pup but so much more relaxed and happier.
