I loved these treats and so did my dog, but their "new and improved" recipe is terrible. I like training treats that my dog likes and I can handle the smell, especially when we are on a long walk. The new recipe smells terrible (I cant even open the bad its so overwhelming) and my dog often walks away during training. So not improved and I will be looking for a new training treat.
My mini Goldendoodle seemed to love these training treats but they caused excessive drooling that I did not initially trace back to these treats and was so worried there was something else going on with my little dood. Thank god for Google. I stopped giving him these treats and after a few hours the drooling stopped. I don't know which ingredient triggered it but the added 'salt' probably didn't help. Thank god he's okay but if that reaction happens with anyone else's little fur babe just be aware! Straight into the trash these go. Ugh.
Not only does my dog love these, but they can be kept in a treat pouch on my wheelchair 24/7 without worrying about them going bad. He actually prefers their soft treats, but if you accidentally leave the package open, or even open and close it often, they turn into hard little rocks that he cannot even chew and he's a 70 lb dog that is an aggressive chewer. We still use them at home for learning new tasks or as a high-value treat. But I definitely prefer these crunchy treats for when we're out and about and he is just doing his normal tasks. This is probably the highest value tree that I found that is "pouch stable" and involves no mess whatsoever!
Excellent training treats. Small. Enticing. But don’t leave residue on your hands. Smells like real cheddar and the pups consider these high value.
I bought these treats for my two 80 lb labs. They are very small. I am using them for training which is perfect. They LOVE these treats. They will listen to me and pay attention for this little treat. I would purchase again.
The girls love their tricky trainers while training!
My dog loves these! Cheesy and crunchy? She's a big fan.
I tried to give this to my 1 year old lab, but he literally would not eat these training treats! He's not a picky eater. I'm not sure why he spit these out! Every now and again my cat likes to eat his kibble and treats...even the cat wouldn't touch these!! I'm a little disappointed because I purchased three bags :( Oh well live and learn
My very food motivated dog didn’t like these at all. He’s not usually a picky eater. He spits them out every time we try to reward him with these treats.
My dog is very picky but absolutely loves these. I like that they are crunchy however easy to chew. Just the right size for a good boy treat.
