At first I thought I got a bad batch...

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I opened them and they were suuuuuuper crunchy, like a biscuit. I described them as being hard and unlike any other freeze-dried treat I've had (I do note they are air-dried and not freeze-dried, but at first I thought that meant the same thing). Chewy actually graciously shipped me another bag just to be sure I didn't receive a bad batch. At first, my picky pup simply sniffed and walked away. But after a bit of coaxing, she ate it and then ate another and another. Now these are a fun treat to stick her kong with, as they are only about 8 cals per treat, and fit perfectly inside the kong hole. My main complaint is that I wish the bag were much bigger.

    Our poodle loves these!

    By on

Our poodle is on a limited ingredient diet that includes pork so I was very happy to find these treats. They are quite hard so if your dog has sensitive teeth they might not be for you. But, our guy absolutely loves these and I will definitely be buying them again.

    Hard as rocks

    By on

These air-dried pork bites are hard as rocks.. literally! I do not recommend giving these to any fur-baby of any size. There really isn't much of a scent to them that is enticing either.

    Porky-Goodness!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

Just opened fresh out the box today. These little morsels are a bit hard, crunchy, and plentiful per bag/ounces (at least for our small breed, a Malshi). Our dog already enjoys these even though he has to work on it for a minute.

    My picky dog

    By on

I have tried other freeze dried treats, but our dog didn't seem to be really taken with them. When I tried the pork bites he loved them. I am so glad Chewy carries them. Thank you.

    Fantastic choice for furbabies!

    By on

My two (70 & 80 lb) dogs love these treats! One of them can't have a long list of ingredients but pork is something she CAN have. My other dog doesn't care for treats that have veggies or grains in them and also has gum disease (that we're getting fixed) so he can't crunch down on anything super hard. Because these treats are nothing but USA-sourced pork, I don't have to worry about giving them something that will harm them. Also, these treats are firm but not super hard and they are about 1/2 inch square.
