    Waste of Money

    By on

This Cloud Star was on a promo last time I was on Chewy, so I decided to buy a lamb and a chicken for my dog, a 12 lb. Toy Fox Terrier. We adopted my dog 5 years ago, and he didn't used to have a sensitive tummy, but food has become an issue with him over the past year, so we've tried a number of brands and types. One thing I learned, any food with any type of fish meal is one he will not touch, and apparently lamb now makes him vomit, as this one did, along with a lamb recipe by Castor and Pollux. We were able to get him to eat the chicken bag, but only by hiding small amounts in with another brand of kibble or homemade chicken/brown rice/carrots, etc that I cooked up for him during the tummy This Cloud Star was on a promo last time I was on Chewy, so I decided to buy a lamb and a chicken for my dog, a 12 lb. Overall, both bags were a waste of money. I couldn't recommend and wouldn't buy this brand again. I rate it at 3 stars because: 1. It's not the dog food company's fault if my dog doesn't like their product. 2. The ingredients are actually pretty good, which is why our experience is disappointing. … more

My dog has rejected her usual food

    By on

I have a super picky dog with an inability to tolerate most food and a chicken allergy. Shopping for the right food for her took 2 years and probably 20 brands. I tried a 5 pound bag of this to see what she thinks and now she won't eat her favorite food of 4 years. She eats this and leaves her other food in the bowl. I'm assuming this stuff tastes great.

    Gives my pup gas

    By on

My pup eats EVERYTHING and but is reluctant to eat this and the last few weeks that she's been on this food I've noticed she is gassy. We'll go back to her previous food, disappointing since she likes the Cloud Star dog treats.

    Cute fun shape

    By on

I know the title sounds weird for dog food. My dog does not like this food at all. She will take piece by piece and hide it through the house. She is finicky, but this is a new trick. The bites are more like a food pellet, they do have a bit of an odd smell for dog food, and are very hard. Since I’m not eating it, I can’t give a very good review. My dog just won’t eat it.

    Great Stuff!

    By on

My old dog and my young dog LOVE this food. So glad I tried it for them! They have liked lamb in the past, so I took a chance on this one since it was on sale. They ate it like candy for the first couple of weeks. Now they still empty their bowls, but not as fast as when they first tried it. I have put this food on my monthly Auto-ship. I wish Wellmade had dry cat food too!

Good Baked Lamb substitute for TrueFood

    By on

My Australian Cattle and Terrier/Corgi mix, both 11 years old, have adjusted to eating this minimum-ingredient recipe for the last 2 weeks. The first week, soft stool; now good and firm, and with regularity. They eat all their kibbles without a second thought. Baked lamb recipes have been the food of choice for my boys. This has been a good substitute for the TruFood brand while it is out of stock. I recommend this product.

Think its a great option for picky and sensitive dogs.

    By on

With the kibble being baked instead of extruded I think it would be a great option for picky dogs. It looks and smells completely different than normal kibble. Has the consistency more of a baked treat than kibble. My dog also has a lot of allergies so with the ingredient list being so short its helped greatly with her itching.

Dogs just love this! Just wont stopping eating it!!!

    By on

Honestly, its been hard to find a food that 3 dogs like. And one is allergic to chicken the other is alfalfa. Plus, have kids that love to feed animals. This was thw perfect allergy food and they have not grown bored of it. We have to rotate food never find one they truely like. They love it! All the way to the bottom of the bag!
