How many pounds does this hold? I have a huge mastiff I’m adding to my family but have a hard time finding beds that will hold him. Would this work?

The Small bed is recommended for dogs weighing up to 20 pounds, the Medium is recommended for dogs weighing up to 50 pounds and the Large is recommended for dogs weighing up to 80 pounds. Is the bottom cushion attached to the base? Is the cover for this washable? In the photo I can see that the bolster is attached with a band, so I am assuming the cover can be machine washed. My other dog likes to pull out the cushions so I am hoping the bottom cushion is attached.

The bed surface will measure approximately 7 inches high from the floor.

Too small
I ordered for my medium-sized dog. But it's not 40" long as advertised, but only 37". And that's measured from the outer edge. The actual usable space is on 31"! None of my dogs would use it. Even my fat cat thinks it's too tiny! Pretty disappointed.
Chaise dog bed
Once it finally arrived, we put it in front of the living room window and our dogs lay on it all the time.
