not as large as most pellets on market. My 75 gallon tank for my larger cichlids have a lot of rock formation on the bed and these pellets (i wouldn't call them large) fall quickly and land between the rock where the fish cannot get to. Hopefully my catfish eventually eat them. I either have to drop in a few at a time so fish get before dropping to bottom of tank. I have been chopping each piece by hand with a knife and putting it in a different jar to feed my fry in a grow out tank. Good quality but not right texture.
