Feeding Instructions
This blend is designed to be fed in combination with a nutritionally complete pellet, such as Mazuri Mini Bird Maintenance or as the primary diet item when all components are consumed. Supplemental calcium should also be provided in the form of cuttlebone to ensure birds can meet their needs for the mineral at all times.
Transition Instructions
To successfully transition birds from their currently diet to COLORFUL COMPANIONS Blend Parakeet, do a gradual changeover. Start with 90% current diet and 10% Parakeet. On each succeeding day, reduce the amount of seeds by 10% while increasing the amount of Parakeet by 10%. On the 10th day, the diet should consist only of COLORFUL COMPANIONS Parakeet Blend.
