Happy to find something that advertised as “squirrel free”. It would be worth the price if it did, in fact, keep squirrels away. Unfortunately, my squirrels seem to love it.
The Squirrel were eating it even from the feeder, but the worse thing is the dust or the oil - i was chocking, sneezing, coughing non-stop, even mask is no so protective. This item should be removed from the listing
I've been looking for a source for a bulk squirrel-free bird seed and so thankful Chewy has it! Way better value than WBU ($40 for 8lbs!) , and it's also low mess. The squirrels aren't eating at the feeders but do pick up the ground pieces occasionally. I'm adding a little extra hot pepper to hopefully deter that as well.
I would happily purchase this Bird Feed without the capsaicin oil.
Be careful pouring this seed into another container as the dust cloud will make you cough and your nose will run. Also none of my local birds like the oat so it is just wasted.
Squirrels love it. 5-6 on my two feeders this morning. The birds like it too, as much as they can get it.
