What's the difference between Comfort Zone for a multi-cat home vs. the one that says "helps control scratching & urine marking"? I have 3 cats & one started marking so want to get the appropriate product, but I am a bit confused! Thanks for your attention to my inquiry!
Answer by ChewyDec 21, 2017
This product is specifically for Scratching and Marking behavior, where the Comfort Zone with Feliway Multicat is specifically for tension and conflict between multiple cats.

Does this work to stop older cats from spraying? I have 2 cats that have lived with my family since they were kittens, and they tend to spray all around the house ever since we brought home an adopted 8 month year old boy. (All cats are fixed.)
Answer by ChewyJan 24, 2018
This product helps to control destructive urine marking and scratching associated with fear or stressful situations such as a new pet, visitors, moving to a new home or even rearranging the furniture.

What is the difference between comfort zone and feliway multicat
Answer by ChewyJun 28, 2018
Feliway is the original name and they stuck with it. The series of products is called Comfort Zone.

I just received an order if Feliway Diffuser refills (6 count) from Chewy.com, and they are the new design. Are they OK to use with our "old" Feliway diffusers? We purchased our current (old) diffusers about 1 year ago.
Answer by ChewyJun 13, 2018
The old diffuser model is compatible with the new model refills.

Definitely not a good product for my two cats

Getting a liquid cat diffuser was recommended my by my tabby's vet to get her to stop over cleaning her fur and for my tortoise shell, who has a tendency toward anxiety. The diffuser leaked oil onto my floor even after I made sure it was tightly sealed in place. I have a large great room, which is where I put the diffuser. After 24 hours there was an unusual odor coming from the diffuser. I took it out and made sure nothing was smoldering. Then I put it back in the socket. By 48 hours, both of my cats were acting a bit weird - hiding and seemed to be extremely sleepy and tired. It did not help with the over cleaning or the anxiety, in fact I think the tortoise shell was more anxious. I removed the diffuser two days ago and I have happy, active cats again. When they were kittens I used the Feliway collars on both of them for some issues that they were having and they worked much better. They are not available anymore or I would have purchased them instead. I will just go back to my scratching and grouchy cat drops from Jackson Galaxy,

Amazing product

I have 10 total cats in my home. Amazing they all managed to coexist with each other well. I never had issues with the litter box not being used. However there was always tension between one cat and another at any given time. I figured why not try it out. This product has brought peace and calm to a whole new level in my home. Every cat will peaceful sleep in my catified bedroom at night with no tension in the air at all. You would never know I have 10 cats because of how peaceful the environment is.

Had complete opposite effect.

My cat would hide away in the farthest room from the diffuser. Didn’t help with spraying at all. Seems to be in constant state of fear. My other cats became very aggressive towards one another.

Worked great for stress/spraying

I moved recently and due to a new environment (not my house), my 13-year-old cat began peeing and spraying outside the litter box. When I purchased the plugin this completely stopped...I can not say thank you enough because I was so stressed by never knowing where or what he was going to spray on. This product is wonderful. Thank you!!!

No effect and got way too hot...

I read that this would keep my cats from fighting and marking but it didn't even slow them down and on top of that it would get incredibly hot.

Smells like burnt plastic when plugged in

Does anybody experience the smell of burnt plastic when it's plugged in? I feel it is a fire hazard.

Don't waste your money

Waste of money. Our cat hides all day. We have had this product for over a week and my cat is worse than before. I won't be purchasing a refill.

Great for stress

We bought the diffuser after our cat Hans had an episode with constipation that made him wary of the litter box. After things got sorted out and we brought him home from the vet, he was still a little wary of the box, so we plugged this in near the box and he quickly became comfortable with using the box again. Highly recommend it for a cat who has been through some stress.

No Effect On My Cat

After trying several remedies (vet visits, food trials, allergy testing, toys, environmental change and others) over the course of three years to stop my female cat's excessive licking. I tried Feliway to see if it would help. My cat sniffed at the diffuser plugged into the wall and went back to licking. It might work for scratching and urine marking.

Doesn't work

Sadly we had hoped the cats would at least reduce their clawing and marking but to no avail.
