Comfort Zone with Feliway Cat Diffuser helps control destructive urine marking and scratching associated with fear or stressful situations like introducing a new pet to the family, having visitors or moving to a new home. The Diffuser works by using a heating element to disperse the pheromone into the air. Once present, the pet breathes in the pheromone and it attaches to a receptive organ, called the vomeronasal organ located in the nasal cavity. The vomeronasal organ then signals the brain, via nerves, and a sense of well-being is established.Â
Key Benefits- Reduces or completely stops stress-related behaviors like scratching and spraying often related to stressful situations.
- Contains one diffuser, one 48-ml bottle and one bottle lasts 4 weeks and treats 500-650 sq. ft
- Non-toxic, drug-free, odorless vapor mimics a cat's natural calming pheromones and signals to her that the area is friendly and safe, reducing her need to spray and scratch.
- For maximum product efficiency, your diffuser should be replaced every 6 months.
- Comfort Zone products with Feliway are clinically proven to help reduce vertical scratching and urine spraying in 9 out of 10 cats in 28 days.
HAZARDS TO HUMANS: Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Call physician immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Read label and insert prior to use.

How does the Diffuser work?
The Diffuser works by using a heating element to disperse the pheromone analogue into the air. Once present, the pet breathes in the pheromone and it attaches to a receptive organ, called the vomeronasal organ located in the nasal cavity. The vomeronasal organ then signals the brain, via nerves, and a sense of well-being is established.
How do I use the Diffuser?
A Comfort Zone® Diffuser should be placed in the room where the cat spends most of its time which may or may not be where the stress behavior is the greatest. Remove the cap from the bottle. Attach the bottle to the Diffuser device and plug the product in. The Diffuser should be placed in an outlet that is open to the room. The product should not be placed behind furniture or in an electrical outlet near shelves, cabinets or other physical barriers, which may prevent dispersion of the pheromone. Each Diffuser will cover up to 700 square feet. If your pet has access to more than one floor in your home, a Diffuser should be used on each floor. Always refer to the package insert for complete instructions for use.
Should the product be plugged in all day?
Yes, the product is to be used throughout the entire day. Unplugging the device may cause the pet's stress behavior to return.
How often should the product be used?
To modify your pet's stress behavior, use Comfort Zone® products for a minimum of 30 days. In households with more than one cat, it may be necessary to continue use after 30 days.
How long will the Comfort Zone® Diffuser last?
It will last for approximately one month.
Can I use the Diffuser with a cleanser/enzyme?
Yes, you may use cleaning agents, enzymatic cleaners or disinfectants to clean the soiled areas. Do not use bleach-based cleaners or ammonia-based cleaners, as they may encourage urine marking. It is very important to thoroughly rinse and dry cleaned areas prior to using Comfort Zone® Feliway® Spray. Please be sure to read instructions for use with each respective cleaning product.

Definitely not a good product for my two cats
By CreationsbyChris on Aug 3, 2020
Getting a liquid cat diffuser was recommended my by my tabby's vet to get her to stop over cleaning her fur and for my tortoise shell, who has a tendency toward anxiety. The diffuser leaked oil onto my floor even after I made sure it was tightly sealed in place. I have a large great room, which is where I put the diffuser. After 24 hours there was an unusual odor coming from the diffuser. I took it out and made sure nothing was smoldering. Then I put it back in the socket. By 48 hours, both of my cats were acting a bit weird - hiding and seemed to be extremely sleepy and tired. It did not help with the over cleaning or the anxiety, in fact I think the tortoise shell was more anxious. When they were kittens I used the Feliway collars on both of them for some issues that they were having and they worked much better. They are not available anymore or I would have purchased them instead. I will just go back to my scratching and grouchy cat drops from Jackson Galaxy, … more

Amazing product
By Amanda on Jul 7, 2019
I have 10 total cats in my home. Amazing they all managed to coexist with each other well. I never had issues with the litter box not being used. However there was always tension between one cat and another at any given time. I figured why not try it out. This product has brought peace and calm to a whole new level in my home. Every cat will peaceful sleep in my catified bedroom at night with no tension in the air at all. You would never know I have 10 cats because of how peaceful the environment is.

Worked great for stress/spraying
By Oreo on Apr 27, 2019
I moved recently and due to a new environment (not my house), my 13-year-old cat began peeing and spraying outside the litter box. When I purchased the plugin this completely stopped...I can not say thank you enough because I was so stressed by never knowing where or what he was going to spray on. This product is wonderful. Thank you!!!

Had complete opposite effect.
By Jessica on Apr 30, 2019
My cat would hide away in the farthest room from the diffuser. Didn’t help with spraying at all. Seems to be in constant state of fear. My other cats became very aggressive towards one another.

No effect and got way too hot...
By Tommya on Apr 4, 2019
I read that this would keep my cats from fighting and marking but it didn't even slow them down and on top of that it would get incredibly hot.

Great for stress
By Hans on Jul 29, 2018
We bought the diffuser after our cat Hans had an episode with constipation that made him wary of the litter box. After things got sorted out and we brought him home from the vet, he was still a little wary of the box, so we plugged this in near the box and he quickly became comfortable with using the box again. Highly recommend it for a cat who has been through some stress.

Brought our cat out of hiding
By Beau on Jun 29, 2018
We moved into a new house on 5/31, and the more skittish of our two cats was having a really hard time with it. She spent 98% of our first two weeks in the house hiding under a couch or on top of the kitchen cabinets. She wasn't eating or drinking much either. So we finally got two of these to try, and in less than 12 hours she was out exploring the house, looking for some attention, and generally behaving much more like her old self. She is still terrified of the ceiling fans, which we didnt have in our old house, but she is doing much, much better since I plugged these in. I am very pleased with the results.

So disappointed that this product did not help.
By Unhelpful on Jun 15, 2018
I adopted a senior cat that needed lots of TLC 11 months ago. I adore my cat and have done so much for her to help her adjust. All was going well until about 3 months ago when I went to visit my mother out of state for 4 days. I came back home and she had pooped all over my carpet. I did have a neighbor come in 3x/day to feed her and spend some time with, but apparently that was a trigger for her. After I returned home she started urinating and pooping on my bedroom carpet. I have tried everything and nothing has helped. Unfortunately the problem has gotten worse. This product got such great reviews so I had high hopes for it to work. Now I am at a total loss of what to do to help my cat. :( I adopted a senior cat that needed lots of TLC 11 months ago. Don't waste your money

Waste of money. Our cat hides all day. We have had this product for over a week and my cat is worse than before. I won't be purchasing a refill.

No Effect On My Cat
By CatMama on Jul 9, 2018
After trying several remedies (vet visits, food trials, allergy testing, toys, environmental change and others) over the course of three years to stop my female cat's excessive licking. I tried Feliway to see if it would help. My cat sniffed at the diffuser plugged into the wall and went back to licking. It might work for scratching and urine marking.
