Description

Help beat kitty stress with the Comfort Zone Spray & Scratch Control Calming Cat Spray. Feline stress can lead to all sorts of problem behaviors like scratching and urine marking. This easy-to-use spray works with a clinically-proven formula that “smells” like the natural soothing pheromones cats use in the wild to signal safety. Spray it at home anywhere your kitty scratches or marks, or even on beds, crates and furniture to help promote a more stress-free environment for your pal. It’s also great for the car and even for the vet’s office! Plus, it’s totally safe to use and won’t affect any other pets, including Fido—although he may also enjoy a more calm and relaxed kitty himself.

Key Benefits
  • Odorless, drug-free formula mimics natural cat pheromones that signal a safe environment they can relax in.
  • Spray formula helps cats feel more calm and relaxed to help reduce stress-related behaviors.
  • Clinically proven to help reduce stress-related urine marking and scratching, and is great for vet visits, moving, introducing new pets or when traveling.
  • Odor-less formula can be sprayed on furniture, doors and other areas prone to urine marking and scratching, as well as on beds, scratchers and other kitty favorites.
  • Won’t affect any other pets so you can use it around dogs and anywhere in your home, and doesn’t leave any scent behind.

    Definitely worth trying.

I didn’t give this five stars because it’s pricey and it has to be used regularly. However, I have six cats that get along well with one exception. That would be Teddy, who is the number one cat and loves all the other cats except Quincy. Teddy’s main behavior to show me and the other cats that he doesn’t think Quincy should be living with us, is to pee outside the box. He does not spray, he sits down and pees. Teddy pees on the floor, the kitchen and bathroom sinks, the bathtub, my shoes, my handbag, and anything new that hasn’t had a dose of Comfort Zone spray. And sometimes, he does use a regular litter box for urination, just as he always uses a box to poop. I got a bunch of cardboard boxes with two inch sides, put some newspaper in them and placed them all over my apartment. Teddy frequently pees in these boxes, but it’s not unusual to find a little puddle right next to a box. When that happens, I clean it up and spray some Comfort Zone there. That will keep him from peeing in that spot for awhile. I know a lot of people wouldn’t be able to put up with a cat like Teddy, but with the help of a product like Comfort Zone, I find the situation to be tolerable, and he really is a lovely cat in every other way. … more

    It works well

    By on

My kitten was never the worst with destructive scratching , mostly kept to her cat tree, but I saw some starting signs with the. Order of the couch, and this product nipped it right in the bud. Can’t say what it does if you start after the habit has been formed, but it definitely works if you start at the beginning !

    Fab Service & Products

We drove from Texas to Oregon with 3 farm cats in tow. The only way they made the trip (and they did beautifully) was by use of this product. It saved the day. We also use it inside now to prevent them from scratching furniture. Not 100% but about 80% effective.

    I’m not sure.

Honestly, I can’t tell if this did anything. I have a young cat whom I just had neutered. He HAD been peeing in the living room, where the older cat tends to spend his time. I sprayed the spray where my cat peed and where he spends HIS time. Since he has been neutered, I haven’t let him in the rooms where he had been peeing, plus as he’s fixed now, I don’t know if he would try anything. The spray doesn’t have a smell. The other cat doesn’t seem to pay attention to the stuff. Dogs aren’t bothered. It hasn’t caused any harm, I just couldn’t tell you if it works or not. Neither of them scratch things but they do fight periodically, because we’ve only had the young guy since October. He’s still Honestly, I can’t tell if this did anything. used it on my cat's favorite scratching spot..my recliner! I'm not sure it worked. Smells bad, so I didn't use it again. Will try it on my front door after washing it this spring. Neighborhood cats spray. Can't smell much worse!

    Love Comfort Zone

    By on

I love this product. My cats were tearing up my house with their scratching. I was desperate to find a solution. The first day I used Comfort Zone it worked! I was thrilled, and submitted a second order and recommended it to my friend.

    It seems to work

    By on

I purchased this because by kitty was scratching at the carpet. I sprayed it and so far she has left it alone. However, I also bought a corregated scratching box and she really gravitated to that.

    Really works!

    By on

I brought an adult cat from overseas that was strictly an outside cat and was worried he would use my brand new furniture as his scratching post. So I bought this product and sprayed my furniture and he hasn’t bothered to even look at my new furniture!!! It’s been 5 days now and he just walks on by ! Thank you chewy for selling a product that works!!

    Great for stress

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I’m a firm believer in this product. I use it when we have stray cats, when we introduce a new cat or pet, for behavior problems or when something in the house changes. It should be sprayed daily during high stress times and i spray it on problem areas or the areas that are most frequented by the cat(s). I do also use it at the vet. It can be sprayed in the carrier or on a blanket and towel and placed in or over the carrier.

The liquid worked, but the bottle design cheats you.

    By on

I spray this on my couch 2x a day and I have been using this for four days. From day one my cats finally stopped peeing on the couch. One big disappointing problem! The sprayer's straw does not reach all the way to the bottom of the bottle - it is 1/4 inch short, so the sprayer cannot spray out the last 1/4 inch of the fluid in the bottle!!!!!???!!!!???$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!
