Good quality gate
I really like the design of the door being automaticity close. The gate is sturdy and the price isn't so expensive like other gates. Perfect for my dog. The size is a bit smaller than I thought, so I had to adjust things to make it fit the room.
Decent gate for the price
Seems to be pretty sturdy but opening the gate is more difficult than with another model that we have in the home. It takes a bit of upward force which could eventually loosen the entire assembly if you aren't careful. Unfortunately, the other model that we have isn't available in the length that we needed. As always, Chewy's customer service was exceptional when we found that we were missing a part.
Kid I baby gate
It was exactly what we needed for our new puppy. We did buy longer screws to secure it to the wall so that it was sturdier.

Love the walk through gate
I love the look of this gate. The walk through gate is also an added bonus since the actual gate itself is pretty tall. I’m using this to keep my cats away from the front door. Since I’m renting, I am attaching the gate to the wall using command strips. Even with that, I haven’t had any issues with stability. The gaps between the gate are pretty large. My kittens are only 13 weeks old and can fit through easily. I am hoping that they will out grow that ability soon. If not, I will be gifting this to my parents who have gates all over the house for their dog and could really benefit from a walk though gate design.
Works well
This gate was easy to install and we feel that proper installation is key for this product to work. So far it functions as advertised. We have the gate “ bowed” which we feel adds to the strength of this product.
86" not 84"
The description says it fits up to 84" well it fits up to 86" so now in order for it to fit my 84" opening it has to be curved which I did not want. I ordered an 84" gate i expected an 84" gate. Who measured this gate? Seriously how does the manufacturer screw up measuring their own product.
Unstable...
I would not recommend this gate. We paid a lot for it and it is way too unstable. We have not been impressed with this gate at all. The gate has to be straightened just right to even get it to latch. The bars on it seem good quality but it's just way too unstable.
Good Quality, but pricey and Unstable Mounting.
I had a large span (84") to close off to keep my 8 week old puppy confined to my kitchen tile area during house training. This gate fit the bill. I spent about $35 more than my 2nd choice, and not sure I'm satisfied with my choice given the premium paid. I like the magnetic gate, and hold-open feature. But this is overshadowed by the fact that you have to lift the gate to clear the lower safety latch (after disengaging the thumb latch), and it takes enough force to disengage the gate and lift the entire structure off the ground in the middle of the span to clear said latch. There should be SOME included vertical supports that can adhere to the floor and snap into the bottom frame near the center (3) door section. And for the price of this unit, it SHOULD be included. Additionally, for this price, drywall mounting screws and mollies should also have been included, not just wood screws. We're talking PENNIES. The quick release tabs are handy, but the lower is nearly worthless in terms of vertical rigidity to the gate because it "floats" freely on the vertical bar to which it mounts. This is good for ease of installation and temporary removal, not so good for vertical/lateral integrity, and the overall rigidity of the structure. This system is more stable in a non-linear (arc) configuration, but STILL needs some type of floor mount system to be rigid enough to restrain a pet with paws on top of the gate, or pushing from the bottom. I answered several questions in the q/a of to clarify some mounting and structural queries about this product. It IS nice quality, and it serves a specific purpose for me and a rather large doorway (84"). It WILL contain my puppy, until he gets big enough and trained to have free reign of the house -- but this is vastly overpriced compared to some free-standing pens that I comparison shopped. Additional honest reviews about vertical integrity may have dissuaded my purchase, in hind-sight, but this will work for my needs. This is a semi-rigid free-standing gate/wall, not a barrier or solution for escape artists.
