I have always used ConairPro rakes. My last brush lasted over 20 years, as the glue finally came undone on the handle. This time around I bought two; I have two goldens. The rake is amazing on their feathers and undercoat. Not only do I use the BEST brush on them but I eliminate the jealousy I have always used ConairPro rakes. Gel Handle Will Leak If Bit
By GW25 on Feb 7, 2021
The brush itself is good to get out mats, but dog had bit the gel handle and it began to leak overtime. We cut the gel part off and cleaned it out leaving just a plastic handle. Buyer beware, don’t leave your pup unattended with the brush!

Amazing!!!
By Niki on Jan 6, 2021
Finally a brush that works on a Shepherd! I have been using a furmenator for years and always struggled to get their undercoat off, this brush makes brushing take half the time and honestly the Shepherd and I love that the most...

Rounded tips and comfortable handle
By DoggieMama on Dec 30, 2020
So far, so good. Gets out a lot of the fine undercoat hair and my dog likes being brushed with it. The round handle is comfortable to hold.

Great for Detangling Golden Retriever
By Kathryn on Nov 5, 2020
I really like this brush! I was looking for a brush that would detangle my golden retrievers long coat, and it works great for that. From his long hair along his torso to the spots behind his hairs that tends to get tangled, this brush does the job (except for his tail - I think I need a detangling spray for that area). The handle is super comfortable, too. It doesn't take a ton of undercoat/shedding hair out of their coat, but I don't think that's the purpose of this brush; plus we use another type of brush for that when we need to. Recommend for long-haired dogs! It didn't do much of anything on our short-haired mix.

Where has this been all my life
By DogHairDontCare on Oct 30, 2020
I have two mixed breed dogs and one is a large shepsky (shepherd/ husky) I have many styles of brushes including gloves but never felt like it got deep enough in her coat. Groomer recommended a rake so we ordered this one and I already see less hair sitting on both my dogs and the shedding is less extreme! So happy with this brush!

Fantastic for double coated dogs
By Shel on Oct 22, 2020
I have a Husky/Shepard and she blows her coat twice a year. Her most recent blow out was lasting much longer than normal (mostly likely from stress of some big changes in the house) used this twice for about 5-10 minutes and get shedding went back to a normal level in a week.
