Great for dog fearful of brushes

By Cris on Aug 28, 2020

My buddy sees the brush and can’t get away fast enough. This is a real problem solver. I put the handle between my finders and brushing is now just like petting!! After he gets really used to the idea of brushing, I will probably be able to introduce a real brush, but in order to acclimate him, this My buddy sees the brush and can’t get away fast enough. Not for long haired dogs

    By on Top 500 Contributor

I bought this brush for my Lhasa Apso because it's supposed to be for long haired dogs. I brush him regularly, so there are few knots in his hair, and he'd been sick, so there was no playing nor roughhousing with my other dog to put any in his coat. The first time I brushed him with this brush was today when I got it, and 5 of its teeth came out though his coat gave it an average amount of resistance for a long haired dog (he has his winter coat now, which is about 2 inches from the floor). I am disappointed in the way it was obviously made: it lasted less time than either of his last 2 brushes. It would be different if I didn't brush him regularly and keep his hair relatively knot free, but I bought this brush for my Lhasa Apso because it's supposed to be for long haired dogs.
