Bought this for our puppy and it works! The tips are covered so it doesn’t scratch her skin. Handle is very comfortable and easy to hold while brushing her. Really gets the mats and tangles out without any trouble.
Just fluffs the fur, but hardly removes any fur.
My cats and I are not fans, I had 2 long haired Siberians and one shorter hair Siberian cat (RIP, my sweet boy) and none of them liked this brush. It did remove hair from their coats quickly, but it was so staticy and the cats got very annoyed within a stroke or two. The handle is nice in the hand, but that really doesn't matter if my cats won't let me touch them with it!
The bristles are just soft enough to not hurt them but still help pull loose hair out. My female loves rubbing her face on it more than having her body brushed, but she's weird. :)
So great to do around the neck area. Soft enough not to hurt but still do the job. My guys cannot get enough.
