I don't exactly put these on my dogs when we go out but I'm sure I could. I just don't carry a refrigerated water bottle with me everywhere that I could put it on. But OH MY GOODNESS my dogs LOVE wearing this :) I lightly saturate the cover and then pay it so it's not dripping then I put it on them and they.... go to a different planet. A cold dog planet :) Their panting stops and they just become so comfortable after a huge few hours of play in the hot back yard. I even put it up over their temples sometimes and they like that a lot :)
Cool and Insect Free!

I have previously purchased the Cool Pup insect shield t-shirts for my dogs and they've always worked well for us. When I saw this neck gaiter, I knew it was going to be good! We soak in cold water and then put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes. It provides lasting cooling effects and seems like it helps keep the bugs away. Mr. Beasley doesn't jump out of the grass like he normally does when he gets bug bites. After the gaiter begins to warm up/dry, we just re-wet it with cold water and back out the boys go! Both dogs have an approximately 12" neck circumference and the small size fits well. I think it runs a little on the small side, though.
