It does not look like these poles can be used 2 by 2. Is that correct?
Answer by ChewyApr 21, 2019
These weave poles can be adjusted to be 2 x 2s, offset channel poles, or a line of straight poles.

How many inches between poles?
Answer by ChewySep 10, 2019
There are 24 inches between each pole.

to utilize the channel method how far can yo spread the poles to form a channel?
Answer by ChewyJan 21, 2021
You can undo the weaves at the base at #2 and # 4 this will give you 3 sets of 2x2’s and you can train and set your channel as you wish. You can also zig zag your weaves for a channel. However, you can’t spread them anymore than the 24 inches in distance that they are connected by.

I have 2 German Shepherd Dogs. 86 and 95 lbs. Are those poles sturdy enough for my dogs to weave through them without making them fall?
Answer by ChewyNov 01, 2020
This product is lightweight yet sturdy so they’re easy to transport and can stand up to heavy duty practice.

They work well but break easily

They don’t tip, dogs bump into them and they stay upright which is great. But 2 poles cracked while in the travel case without anything too crazy happening to them while in there, made them useless as now they don’t fit in the holders on the base. :( maybe a more durable plastic would be better? Otherwise I loved them.

Perfect for Training

These were exactly what we needed to work on weave progression and weave entries. Easy to move around and collapse. Sturdy enough to hold up to my border collie running through them. Good quality for the price.

Love the versatility

These are amazing for the price. I love that they are portable and can be used indoors or out. I took them to my agility class and 3 people wanted to get a set for their dog

Best in class

We set this up in the basement during the holidays, and reduced the zigzag a bit every day until it was a line. Back in class Cooper is the best at weave poles. On the flat concrete, they stay up well enough for my 40lbs spaniel - but I could see how with a heavier dog that hits the poles harder it might require some attachments to the ground.

Short-lived

Great for training, but just OK quality. Many of the pole fittings are now loose and on their way out. One is entirely stripped. We had a good 6 month run and were able to master the weave quickly by being able to bring the poles in a little at a time.

Perfect Poles!

These are great training poles. You can use them any way you want. I train small dogs, so I cut them down to 24" length. They go on grass, concrete, or even carpeting. Very portable. I love them.

Perfect for beginners

Great beginner set! Not supper sturdy, but I use indoors and use duct tape to secure to floor. Works great! Teaching weave poles with these is a breeze! Thank you, chewy, for the great price, too!

The right equipment for initial training.

I’m using this with my energetic Cavapoo. It is great that it can be used inside and out because with the hot, rainy weather we are having, my pup doesn’t like wet grass and I don’t like hot and humid! It’s also easy to move. It is spaced generously and, as long as you use the counterbalance feature, it is very sturdy. I really like that you can adjust the angle of the weaves and straighten out gradually as your dog advances. A quality product.

Great, stable, indoor/outdoor packable poles

Love these. Very sturdy. So easy to assemble. Don’t take up much storage space, so great for smaller spaces, and they can be used inside or outside. We love keeping up with agility training, it’s also a great way to get in some focused mental stimulation every day.
