Cool Runners Pet Tube Soft Kennel Car Crate with Carrying Case

I use this for my car but since it is so lightweight I fly with it and also use it in rentals for my dog! I’ve been using it for at least a year and now i’d be lost without it.

This was my first Chewy purchase as we were moving from Ohio to Nebraska. Abby was able to put my hand at the net for comforting. There were objects in the back seat the runner curved around. It allowed her to continuously switch positions as her joints were stiff.

Not the best zipper in the world. The seam where the mesh and zipper attach wasnt sewed on properly so there are a couple of very small holes. I mean it was only 50 bucks. The design of it though is great, works for my dog just like I had imagined. Shes about 30 pounds and has ample room to turn around and sit up.

Incredible! At first he was confused lol but he was able to have full vision of me driving and of the windows. He’s a jumper and an excited car rider but he destroyed our last car with his crazy antics so this has amazing room. He can turn full 360° in it and rides comfortably! 10/10 recommend for pet owners who’s dogs can’t sit still in car rides lol. Also it comes with stakes! So you can remove it and have a tent for your doggo next to your tent. Which we plan on doing since our tent is so teeny tiny two person sleeper ( he takes up all the room lol). Definitely worth it.

I have 4 pugs and they shed and I saw this and decided to try it. There is mesh all the way around so your dogs can see out . I don’t think they loved it but we thought it did a great job . Hair stayed in tube and I feel the dogs are safer as well . We recommend this product!!!!!

This fit perfectly in the back of our car, and both of our cats did fit comfortably without destroying the tube. We ended up returning as our cats hated being contained in this small of an area (perfering smaller carriers and the ability to walk around) but I would highly recommended it for safety to keep them restrained, especially with one driver. Overall the construction was great and we would buy again if our cats liked it.

I’m currently using this item while traveling with my two cats across country. I put a rug on the bottom and have room to place their cat bed and a small litter box. I did cover the top with a small blanket to block the sun coming in through the window.

I just bought a new car. The other hammock styles have improved to cover the doors but, my problem was that I did not want my window tint gouged; My dogs like to stand up and they massacred my last tint job. This tube expanded the width and depth of the back seat perfectly. I would only want it to open on both ends. I did put a blanket under it as I was scared they would freak out and try to scratch their way out and end up scarring the seat. One of them was calm the other barked a bit but, he is not used to being in the backseat. It collapses easily to store flat in case.

I ordered two of these - one six months ago, another three months ago. Unfortunately, the fabric and seam around the zipper are very weak. I have Havanese dogs that get excited when the car stops, so they scratch at the side of the tube. I was hoping it'd last longer, but each time at about 2 months of use, the tube was ready to be thrown out. Sewing it back together or securing with safety pins doesn't help.

I only gave it 4 stars because the quality could be improved. However, my puppy thinks this ride is the bomb! We travel often and he is completely settled throughout the trip. I can even take the tube out of the car and use it as a "crate" under supervision... He loves it! I have a car seat in my neck seat, so the fact that it is flexible is awesome.
