Love it but
By CoolaROO on Feb 1, 2021
My pups adore these (we have two) and they are muchhhh sturdier and longer lasting than the KH pets with less sag (45 and 55lb dogs and they can both get on it easily with little sag whereas the kh would bottom out almost with the 55lb dog). However, they are a royal pain in the behind to build. Required two people to hold the bars apart to get the last piece in, and the second one I bought one of the holes wasn’t drilled large enough so I had to bust out the power drill to screw in the last bolt (worked like a charm but not everyone has power tools and that last one would NOT go in with the Allen). Be prepared to be a little frustrated by set up but it is very much worth it. Coolaroo Elevated Dog Bed
By Linda on Feb 25, 2021
One of our dogs has this bed and loves his bed. The bed is well constructed and keeps him off the ground, driveway. The dogs are house dogs except we put them outside in good weather. We put the beds outside when we let them out. I ordered a bed for the other dog who has never slept on any kind of dog bed thinking maybe she would like a bed. I was wrong. I don't think she has put one foot on the bed and doesn't seem to be interested in sitting/sleeping on the bed. I'm hoping with time she may use it but it looks pretty doubtful.

2 Months & Going Strong, size lg, fits 45lb & 11lb together at times.
By CMarie on Jan 27, 2021
Bought this in Dec, end Jan now, Tucker knew it was for him even though never had one before, as soon as it was put together, easy to do when allow taunt cover to bend back (like putting fitted sheet on mattress.. pull mattress up then let fall into shape after sheet on corner) anyway, as soon as bed was open to him, he was on it! wobbly at 1st but he seemed curious to test.. then with-in 3 min he lay & crossed his front legs.. all his.. Now he often drags his flat fuzzy mat bed to put on top of this high bed, so he sleeps both ways, his choice, no pad or with a pad.. our little ancient yorkie-cross 16 yr old naps on corner of this too, her fuzz bed fit perfect on one end and the two dogs seem Bought this in Dec, end Jan now, Tucker knew it was for him even though never had one before, as soon as it was put together, easy to do when allow taunt cover to bend back (like putting fitted sheet on mattress.. pull mattress up then let fall into shape after sheet on corner) anyway, as soon as bed was open to him, he was on it! wobbly at 1st but he seemed curious to test.. then with-in 3 min he lay & crossed his front legs.. all his.. Sturdy bed- terrible assembly experience
By Priscilla on Feb 8, 2021
The bed seems pretty sturdy. I read the other reviews about the assembly pain and didn't think much about it, but I really would've reconsidered purchasing this bed if I knew how hard it is to put together. The tension is crazy, and even with alternating putting the screws in to the legs, it's awful to put together, even with two people. I was a bit afraid something would snap, the poles connecting the legs were that off. Otherwise the bed has been holding up alright the last week. Medium is a good size for my 35 lb dog, with a bit of room to spare.

This is junk!
By LuLuC on Feb 23, 2021
I worked for nearly an hour trying to put this together before I asked for help. Two of us could not get it to work. One of the drilled holes is off so when you do finally force it together it is crooked and doesn't even sit straight on the floor. I can't use this piece of junk and want to return it but it was originally packed so tightly now I can't get the pieces back in the box.

Awesome Raised Bed
By WeHeart2Dogs on Jan 22, 2021
We bought this raised coolaroo bed in hopes we could teach our pups this is their place and not our sofa. We also purchased a square faux fur bed topper from paw .com (it is the replacement topper for the bolster bed) the faux fur topper fits on this coolaroo bed PERFECTLY!!! The faux fur topper is washable and waterproof and very inviting for our pups! This size is perfect for both our pups (1-60lb, 1-35lb) and even supports our 10 year old child laying around with them. Our 10 year old daughter put this together by herself in less than 15 minutes while her dad was working. It looked wamp-sided until she informed me it would be perfect once she sat on it and added weight, she was right! I was thinking the metal bars were bent, but they weren’t, just needed the weight to self adjust after she had tighten all the screws in all the legs. We are so thrilled with the quick shipping and the quality of this bed. Our pups love it and our daughter assembled it quickly on her own. Looking forward to purchasing another for the summer around the pool. … more

My dog loves this bed
By DGIB on Feb 19, 2021
My puppy loves this bed! He is on it (and under it) a lot of the time. I got it for outside, but introduced it to him inside to get him using it. Only thing that is a problem (probably because he is a puppy), he tries to chew the tag on top of the bed. It is sewn onto the bed, so I can't remove it. Bed seems well made. A replacement top can be purchased later if he chews it too much.

Good quality dog bed, kind of a pain to assemble though!
By Diana on Jan 23, 2021
I can't speak to how this bed holds up over time because we've only had it a short while, but the steel pieces are sufficiently sturdy and the cover is made of some kind of woven plastic material so hopefully that means it won't trap odors as much as traditional fabric and be easier to clean. I do like that you can get replacement covers for it separately, and overall it's pretty inexpensive. We have a 60 lb. husky and a smaller terrier mix, so we got the Large to accommodate the husky and it's very generously sized - if she lays flat on her side she will take up most of the bed lengthwise, but since she sleeps curled up most of the time we probably could have gotten away with the Medium. We got the nutmeg and turquoise, and both are a bit darker than they appear in the photos here. They are a marled kind of pattern, with the nutmeg being a mix of dark brown and light tan fibers woven together, and the turquoise is navy blue and green woven together. I needed my husband to help me assemble it though, it takes a little muscle to pop the last corner in place after you've got all the pieces together, so that may be something to keep in mind if you are aren't exactly winning any strength competitions like me. Overall I am pleased and hope that it holds up well in the long run! … more

Coolaroo Steel-Framed Elevated
By User on Jan 30, 2021
I bought this bed for my dogs to use outside so they don’t have to lay on a concrete . it dries quickly after I rinsed . It is so cheap. The material is very thin and it not a fabric as promised. Same plastic mesh we use on fence. Dogs claws have popped through it several times already and it is only two week on use .I brought an addition replacement cover just in case and already have to use it.The frame by it self made from aluminium and my plan to buy an appropriate fabric for outdoor use and sew a durable cover. I would not recommend for a big dog maybe for small dogs

Comfortable and tasty
By Maka on Feb 16, 2021
I find bed to be much comfortable. After my initial smell and jump away greeting dance, I used the bed with much haste. But once parents went to sleep and left me alone with it in my crate, I ate the tastiest corner. Yum! It didn't last one night. Parents upgraded my crate bed to one with aluminum sides, but I loved the bed so much. The material was just too tempting to not eat.
