  • Highly recommend for easy pampering

I love the Coolaroos bed. I have four large pups, about 85-90lbs each (husky, black lab, and two GSDs). They absolutely ADORE these beds. We have tile throughout the entire house and just the simple mesh fabric that allows them to get off the hard floor for a bit makes them extremely comfortable. The frame is sturdy and the fabrics have been lasting for about 6 months or so (I think it would last longer except my 4yr old husky never fails to put a small hole in each which grows bigger with extended use). Incredibly easy to clean by just spraying off with a hose outside. They sell just the fabrics which are cheaper so it's easy to replace. I called Chewy and provided the order number and they said they'd ship a replacement out today. 5 stars for the company and 5 stars for this product. Overall, I'd highly recommend! … more

  • Awesome bed, hard to assemble alone

    By on

Love the bed! I got it as a training tool for the place command and as an option for summer heat. My dog doesn’t use his regular donut bed when it starts getting warm. Works great for place as it has very defined boundaries. So far it’s been sturdy enough for my 75 pound golden retriever and the cats to play around on. The only thing to mention is you need two people to assemble. The top pulls very tight and is difficult to get the last side attached. I was eventually able to get it alone but save yourself the trouble and have a friend or partner help you! Great quality for at an awesome price point!

  • Coolaroo, is the BEST!

    By on

My dog had been destroying beds for all 3 years of his life. I was looking for a solution and found it with this Coolaroo bed. It’s the best money I’ve spent on anything for him because he hasn’t destroyed it. We’ve had it for 2 weeks. He loves it and sleeps like a hybernating bear. He’s a Bully by the way, and weighs 75 lbs. I purchased the largest size and it’s more than big enough for him. Great product! I might be buying another for our weekend place.

  • My 3 German Shepherds Love These!

    By on

These are really nice beds at a good price. My largest GSD (100 pounds) finally wore holes in his after two full years of hard daily use, so I ordered the replacement fabric portion and he’s set good as new again. Meanwhile, my less rambunctious 64 pound shepherd’s coolaroo bed still looks brand new even though she’s been using hers daily for three years. I like the way the beds stay clean looking even after my muddy pups have slept in them. The fabric is great at just deflecting the dirt. I also like how none of my shepherds have gotten callouses on their elbows, thanks to their comfy coolaroo beds! I have three beds, one for each of my GSDs, and they’ve been a great investment. :)

  • My dog loved it!

Quick shipping on product. I got the size Large in the color grey. My 8 month old pitbull loved it...I say loved because first he made a hole...then he broke the bed somehow lol. Under normal wear and tear, its a great product and kept most of the dirt off because of the breathable material. But honestly, he destroys EVERYTHING!! I just need all chew proof stuff for him in the future.

  • Cooling material

    By on

My dog trainer recommended getting this type of bed. It has a cooling material which will be good for the hot fl weather. Fairly easy to put together and my border collie enjoys it. Only negative I find when I lift it up it bends but flattens back out easily. Not sure why it does that. It does have some give in it

  • My dog loves it!

Took my 1.5 year old German Shepherd a little while to warm up to it, but he always gets super hot after running around. Once he figured out how cool and comfy this was it has become his go to for lounging and recovering from a run session. Would recommend for dogs that get very hot and pant for a long time.

  • when one is not enough

We purchased a pair of these beds in June. 8 months later it needed a replacement top. You might ask "really in only 8 months?" If you are still reading at this point and have 1 extra minute in your day you will find out how great this elevate bed really is. The idea of elevated beds was a single sided opinion in the household but I was not budging. These beds came very quickly and assembly was a breeze. The dogs took to liking the beds and instead of 1 each they choose to twin up every single laying minute. It wasn't until I was home early and got to see them dance to the window directly on top of the bed. Now... 100# labs on 4 feet is a heavy, but when they paw up to the window seal there is some serious weight on the back legs, and yes it took about 8 months to show some signs of wear. So a few quick clicks and another is reordered. I would recommend these elevated beds to anyone! … more

  • A little smaller than I imagined...

    By on

It says that the large is suitable for dogs up to 100 lbs. I have a small great dane (95 lbs), and her entire head dangles off at an awkward angle. I'm giving it 5 stars for a smaller dog, and 2 for my "teacup dane." At least it was super simple to put together!
