Instructions

Mix 0.5 cup of Coralife Marine Salt with 1 gallon of dechlorinated tap or purified water such as a reverse osmosis, deionized or distilled. Mix thoroughly and aerate mixture to attain proper gas equilibrium. Measure salinity (specific gravity) level using a Coralife Deep Six Hydrometer. Adjust salinity (specific gravity) to desired level. To increase salinity, add salt. To decrease salinity, add water. A specific gravity of 1.021 to 1.023 is recommended for fish-only marine aquariums and 1.024 to 1.026 for reef aquariums.

    salt unidentified

By salt on Mar 29, 2022

Very disappointed that the salt came in unidentified plastic bags. It is pictured as a bucket. How do I know that I got the correct salt? Or salt at all? There were no labels on anything

    Misleading advertisement

By Misleadingadvertisement on Jan 25, 2022

Picture shows a bucket and 2 bags of salt. What you get is 2 unmarked bags of salt in a box with no instruction and no bucket. Description even states a bucket, so now I get to store the salt in bags and have to go get a bucket if I want one. Called customer service and got a sorry, I will tell IT to update the website. So the salt is great the way I have to store it is now inconvenient.

    Quality sea salt

By Jack on Dec 12, 2021

I've had a salt water aquarium for over 25 years. Coralife salt was one of the first salts I used with great results. To have it come right to your door is the only way to buy it. Thank you Chewy!!!
