Yes, the same 2 hutches can be combined into a larger one. You can remove the right door of each set, then remove the right door of the other set, and connect them with screws.

Does the roof open?

Yes, the roof of rest area is openable which is convenient for interaction with your bunnies.

Is there a dropping tray drawer that slide out the front for easy cleaning?
