New cat tree for a new house
One of my cats’ older cat trees didn’t survive the move to my new house, but this cat tree easily took its place. They definitely like it & even share it once in awhile.
Kings of the Hill
We purchased this cat tree recently for our 2 cats, ages 14 & 3. We have 2 dogs and I noticed that when they tire of them, they like to climb or hide. I saw this and thought the price was nice, and so we decided to give it a try. Super easy assembly, sturdy and exactly what we were looking for. And the cats took to it almost immediately! Best cat purchase to date!
Wobbly and insecure
Purchased this about 6 months ago, and the top is already extremely insecure and wobbly. Basket is also too small for my 15 pound cat
Top part broke off
It's not very sturdy. My cat is 15 pounds and doesn't fit in the basket. He enjoys laying on the very top part even though it tilts. Today the top portion randomly broke off and that part of the cat tree, along with my napping cat, fell on the ground. It cannot be put back together anymore. The cat tree lasted less than four months.I'm pretty disappointed since the maximum weight listed for this product is well over 15 pounds.
Good but….
The directions/parts are a hot mess. Two parts were mislabeled and we were missing one piece. Still managed to build it and the cats love it. Seems stable and was a good price. Just be prepared to problem solve assembly!
Cute, but not quite stable?
Alrighty so first off the cute little basket chair absolutely does not get used by my cats so I can’t speak for that. The only issue we have is the very top perch is loose. If my 14lbs cat lays up there it slightly tilts with him. It has been a dramatic issue so I’m not too worried but I did remove a star for that reason. Other than that it’s a great tree and height for my two boys to play on!
it's average ...
fairly simple to assembled. some screws don't go where you think they do. few times I thought there were screws missing only to find out I put them in wrong place. read the directions. not very good quality for almost $70, but I got on sale plus discount code for $40
Horrible. Stay away!
Came without instructions, missing hardware, and the pre drilled holes don’t even line up where they’re supposed to. I bought this in grey and it came in grey but had random parts also in beige that fit nowhere on the product.
Not a winner
I love Chewy but this cat tree was a nightmare to assemble. Screws were missing, holes are not lined up correctly and I am still unable to get the house installed on it. Chewy was nice enough to replace the first tree I received, however this one is no better. Chewy has been very easy to work with in the past, however, this time I am not so pleased with the product.
Issues with my cat tree
I got my cat tree and some of the wood was messed up and when put together it doesn’t stand straight it leans to one side and not much room for a cat to get up
