I purchased this cat tree quite a while ago.. I was searching Chewy for a similar but taller tower when I noticed a poor rating and bad reviews for this cat tree. I feel they are misleading and unfair. I am looking for a similar one because this cat tree has bigger platforms and larger hidey-holes than many of the other cat trees and I want to find the same features in a taller one for another room. Many of the cat trees I have seen while searching seem only appropriate for kittens. I find this one perfectly sized and quite sturdy for my cats. One of my cats is always in it, or on it, whenever he isn't off playing or eating. He uses it as his home-base. I am very satisfied with this purchase I purchased this cat tree quite a while ago.. This condo was a great purchase! The instructions were a little hard to follow, but another reviewer had given some helpful information so I knew what to expect. The most confusing part is that the instructions showed the condo in reverse of the actual set up, and no photo was on the box. I had to refer to the photo on Chewy. The cubes need to be assembled before the covers are put on. And I did not need to drill any holes as some reviewers said. Best of all, our older cat really likes to use the top platform - a very pleasant surprise!

I bought this product about 4 months ago thinking it would be a great size and addition to the thousands of other cat trees and furniture my cats have. Man, was I mistaken; many issues wrong with this product...1) horrible instructions, 2) very hard to assemble, 3) no holes in the felt covers for the houses and 4) houses not already put together. Overall, great size for cats but many issues on assemblage and productivity.

I was beyond excited for this cat tree. However, after spending 2 hours trying to built it, I finally gave up. The holes do not match, their is no holes in the covers, and instructions are super unclear. For all the customers who got a good one they are lucky.

I was going back and forth between different cat trees for sometime before purchasing this one. What a great decision! It's just right in height, has multiple kitty hideouts, soft fabric and top cushion snuggle perch. Only took a half hour to put together, after sorting the well labeled pieces. Well worth the very competitive price! Tuggy agrees!

The instructions aren’t very comprehensive, but with some thought it can be easily assembled. It basically gives a diagram and a letter corresponding to each piece, which were labeled. All parts were included in my order. You assemble the two huts first, which are two boards with four columns and then a cover going over it that has a bungie to keep it on. The buggies will not show if you tuck them under the bottom board of the whole hut unit before tightening it down. Then the huts attach to the boards. The screws all screw into metal inserts pre installed in the boards, not straight into the boards as some reviews suggest. Everything gets decently tight and the tree feels solid. My only complaints are that 1. the Allen wrench included was not the same size as the bolts. Even so, I was still able to tighten the bolts to a good enough tightness to make the tree solid. 2. I also had to cut holes in the covers for the huts to put the screws through. Otherwise all the necessary holes were already made in the fabric for the boards and columns. Only required cutting two holes, one in each of the covers for the huts. 3. The instructions could be more in depth. After an hour and some sprinkled cat nip, my cat enjoys the tree, and it doesn’t seem to sway too much as he plays on it. … more

The tree is nice, but the instructions are horrible! Coming from someone who puts everything together in our house this shouldn't have taken an hour and a half. Very very frustrating

Instructions were not ideal and like others mentioned, there were no holes in the covers. I also did not like that the elastic bands were visible and there would be uncovered screws in the tree. Will be either returning or recycling. Would NOT recommend this product.

Worst investment ever. Instructions are worthless. The tree doesn't have holes in the correct places. The tree looks different when assembled than it does in the picture.

The assembly instructions are not user friendly and the covers for the cubbies did not have holes for the screws. Labels fell off the parts right out of the box. Took over an hour to put together. Nice when finally put together.
